ABSTRACT

Se realizó un estudio descriptivo transversal, con estratificaciones y pronósticos de enfermedades que afectaron al municipio de Puerto Padre, durante el primer semestre del 2007. El universo estuvo constituido por tres áreas de salud y 15 consejos populares. Los objetivos fueron identificar comportamiento de indicadores de salud en enfermedades transmisibles con análisis de variaciones porcentuales para las que incrementan riesgos, estratificar por consejos populares, identificar áreas con comportamientos por encima del municipal validándolo según metodología de trabajo y realizando los pronósticos de enfermedades seleccionadas por la modelación ARIMA, demostrando que 8 de ellas incrementaron riesgo, resultando ser las EDA, Shiguellosis, leptospira, Tuberculosis, Meningoencefalitis Viral y Bacteriana, Blenorragia y pediculosis. En la estratificación los consejos más afectados por Hepatitis A fueron el 7, 6 y 5 respectivamente, en EDA 15 y 1, las IRA 9 y 15, Tuberculosis en el 13, Meningo Viral en el 13, 8 y 4, Blenorragia el 1, 8 y 9 y Leptospira el 8. El área de mayor riesgo Delicia con 11 enfermedades por encima de la tasa municipal, Puerto Padre con 9 y Vázquez 7. El comportamiento según pronósticos, en la sífilis no hubo incidencia, las blenorragias y las Varicelas sobrepasa la media esperada, el resto de las enfermedades entre la mínima y la media(AU)


A descriptive, retrospective study was carried out in relation to stratifications and prognosis of diseases that affected Puerto Padre Municipality during the first semester of 2007. The universe was formed by three health areas and 15 popular councils. The objectives were aimed at identifying the behaviour of health indicators in communicable diseases with the analysis of percentual variations for those with risk increase, stratifying by popular councils, identifying areas with rates above the municipal ones, validating them according to a describe methodology and modelling the prognosis of selected diseases by the ARIMA model. The results show that eight of them had an increasing risk, being acute diarrhoeal diseases, shigellosis, Leptospirosis, Tuberculosis, as well as viral and bacterial meningoencephalitis. After stratification, councils 7, 6 and 15 were the most affected by Hepatitis A; 13 by Tuberculosis; 13, 8 and 4 by viral meningitis; 1, 8 and 9 by gonorrhea and 8 by Leptospirosis. The area of major risk was Delicias with eleven diseases above the municipal rate, Puerto Padre with 9 and Vazquez with 7. According to prognosis, syphilis had no incidence, gonorrhea and chickenpox exceeded the expected mean. The other diseases were between the minimum and the mean(AU)

Se realizó un estudio descriptivo a 451 niños de 5to y 6to grado de las Escuelas Primarias del Municipio Puerto Padre con el objetivo de caracterizar el comportamiento de la violencia intrafamiliar en estos niños; fueron aplicados test proyectivos y entrevistas a los niños previo adiestramiento de lo que debían hacer, se realizó igualmente entrevistas a un adulto convivente con el menor explorado y a los médicos de familia que atienden dichos núcleos. La violencia física y psicológica estuvieron presentes en la investigación en familias habitualmente de tipo ampliada, disfuncionales y donde el mayor agresor resultó ser la madre. El alcoholismo los ingresos económicos bajos y el desempleo fueron algunas de las causas de violencia. Se concluye que existe un subregistro de violencia intrafamiliar o doméstica, que ésta constituye un problema de salud a tener en cuenta y tiene variedades de presentación entre las que se destacan las discusiones familiares, los golpes y gritos entre otros(AU)


A descriptive sutdy with 451 children of 5 th and 6 th level of primary schools in Puerto Padre municipality in order to characterized the behaviour of intrafamiliar violence, was done. There were used projective tests and interviews to children, previous training on what they must do. Adults who live with studied child and doctors of family who attend those homes were interviewed. Physical and psychological violence were present in the investigation in large and dysfunctional families and where the greater aggressor was the mother. Among the causes of violence there were found alcoholism, low economical income and unemplyment. It is concluded that there is a registry of domestic and intrafamiliar violence that constitute a health problem which must be taken into account and it has a diversity of forms of presentation among which familiar discussion, hits and shouts are the most mentioned(AU)
