ABSTRACT

Ex vivo tissue culture of the human corpus cavernosum (CC) can be used to explore the tissue structural changes and complex signaling networks. At present, artificial CC-like tissues based on acellular or three-dimensional (3D)-printed scaffolds are used to solve the scarcity of primary penis tissue samples. However, inconvenience and high costs limit the wide application of such methods. Here, we describe a simple, fast, and economical method of constructing artificial CC-like tissue. Human CC fibroblasts (FBs), endothelial cells (ECs), and smooth muscle cells (SMCs) were expanded in vitro and mixed with Matrigel in specific proportions. A large number of bubbles were formed in the mixture by vortexing combined with pipette blowing, creating a porous, spongy, and spatial structure. The CC FBs produced a variety of signaling factors, showed multidirectional differentiation potential, and grew in a 3D grid in Matrigel, which is necessary for CC-like tissue to maintain a porous structure as a cell scaffold. Within the CC-like tissue, ECs covered the surface of the lumen, and SMCs were located inside the trabeculae, similar to the structure of the primary CC. Various cell components remained stable for 3 days in vitro, but the EC content decreased on the 7th day. Wingless/integrated (WNT) signaling activation led to lumen atrophy and increased tissue fibrosis in CC-like tissue, inducing the same changes in characteristics as in the primary CC. This study describes a preparation method for human artificial CC-like tissue that may provide an improved experimental platform for exploring the function and structure of the CC and conducting drug screening for erectile dysfunction therapy.

ABSTRACT

OBJECTIVES: Exercise has been recommended to enhance sleep. However, there is a paucity of studies investigating the relationships between exercise and sleep problems in patients with bladder cancer. The authors explored the effects of a single bout of light-intensity walking on the sleep quality of patients with bladder cancer who have sleep disorders. DATA SOURCES: A total of 14 patients with bladder cancer with sleep disorders were recruited for this trial. The participants were randomly assigned to the walking or control condition in a cross-over design to explore the effects of a single light-intensity walking session on objectively measured sleep quality. A two-way repeated measures analysis of variance and a nonparametric permutation test were used to examine intervention effects. Twelve participants (85.7%) completed the trial. A significant group × time interaction for sleep latency (P = .023) was identified. The pairwise comparison showed significant results (P = .012) for the difference between the post-test sleep latency and the pre-test. No significant group × time interactions were observed for the remaining seven sleep parameters. Additionally, only the main effects of time on length of awakening and time in bed were significant (P < .001). CONCLUSION: A single bout of light-intensity walking has a positive effect on shortening the sleep latency of patients with bladder cancer who have sleep disorders. IMPLICATIONS FOR NURSING PRACTICE: Oncology nurses can encourage patients with bladder cancer to exercise, even light-intensity walking, which may improve sleep quality.

ABSTRACT

Hypoglycemia has multiple causes, but the most common is a complication of insulin treatment. In addition to insulin therapy, tumors such as insulinomas of pancreatic origin and extrapancreatic tumors causing paraneoplastic syndromes should also be considered. Solitary fibrous tumors of the pleura (SFTP) is rare tumor, which when associated with hypoglycemia causes Doege-Potter syndrome. This article reports a case of a 69-year-old man with Doege-Potter syndrome and underwent the first surgical resection for SFTP. However, the tumor recurred 9 years later with hypoglycemic symptoms and implant metastasis. This recurrent tumor originated from the visceral pleura, was more aggressive and invaded the diaphragm and parietal pleura. After the second surgical removal of the tumor, the hypoglycemic symptoms disappeared.

ABSTRACT

Parabens are widely present in aquatic environments and pose potential health risk. Although great progress has been made in the field of the photocatalytic degradation of parabens, the powerful Coulomb interactions between electrons and holes are the major limitations to photocatalytic performance. Hence, acid-induced tubular g-C3N4 (AcTCN) was prepared and applied for the removal of parabens from a real water environment. AcTCN not only increased the specific surface area and light absorption capacity, but also selectively generated 1O2 via an energy transfer-mediated oxygen activation pathway. The 1O2 yield of AcTCN was 11.8 times higher than that of g-C3N4. AcTCN exhibited remarkable removal efficiencies for parabens depending on the length of the alkyl group. Furthermore, the rate constants (k values) of parabens in ultrapure water were higher than those in tap and river water because of the presence of organic and inorganic species in real water environments. Two possible pathways for the photocatalytic degradation of parabens are proposed based on the identification of intermediates and theoretical calculations. In summary, this study offers theoretical support for the efficient enhancement of the photocatalytic performance of g-C3N4 for the removal of parabens in real water environments.

ABSTRACT

Zero-waste biochar is an emerging tool for carbon neutralization, but the role of biochar in reducing greenhouse gases (GHGs) emissions from CWs were controversy and uncertainty. Yet, no previous study has integrated multiple research systems to quantitatively examine biochar-mediated GHGs emission reduction potential in CWs. Here we synthesized 114 studies to quantify biochar-induced declines ability of GHGs in the CWs by using the multi-level meta-analysis, reveal the variation of GHGs emission effect in different biochar-CWs and its response relationship with biochar, and identify the moderating variables that had a strong explanatory effect on the emission reduction effect of biochar. We showed that biochar remarkably affect CO2 mitigation (p < 0.05), but has insignificant and heterogeneous effects on CH4 and N2O. Pyrolysis time, influent dissolved oxygen (DO), influent NO3--N concentration, hydraulic retention time (HRT) and wetland type can significantly affect the effect of biochar on CH4 emission reduction. Particularly, the importance of HRT and wetland type was 0.89 and 0.85, respectively. Specially, the surface batch CWs modified by biochar could significantly promote the emission of CH4 (p < 0.001), and the effect size was up to 89.59. For N2O, biochar diameter, biochar addition ratio, influent COD/TN ratio, plant name, and removal efficiency of NO3--N/TN/COD were significant moderators. Among them, influent COD/TN ratio and plant name showed a stronger explanation. Planting Cyperus alternifolius L. significantly enhanced the N2O emission reduction capacity by biochar (p < 0.001), and effect size was as low as -24.32. 700-900 °C biochar can promote CH4 flux but inhibit N2O flux. This study provides an important theoretical basis and valuable strategic guidance for more accurate estimation and improvement of synergistic emission reduction benefits between CH4 and N2O of biochar in CWs.

ABSTRACT

Lung adenocarcinoma, the most common subtype of lung cancer, has been always imposed serious threat to human health. Congenital pulmonary dysplasia (CPD) lacking typical clinical manifestations is a rare developmental anomaly. Pulmonary aplasia, the rarest subtype of CPD, may present with a variety of symptoms and is frequently associated with other abnormalities. This report describes an 81-year-old woman who presented with an irritant cough. Chest computed tomography (CT) and three-dimensional (3D) reconstruction revealed an irregular mass with a diameter of 5 cm in right lower lobe adjacent to the hilum. CT also indicated a rightward mediastinal shift and the complete absence of ipsilateral upper lobar tissue with bronchus ending in a terminal cecum, resulting in a diagnosis of pulmonary aplasia. The patient accepted lobectomy and lymph node dissection without complication, histopathologic examination combined HE staining with immunohistochemistry identified the tumor as adenocarcinoma. Three months after surgery, the patient was free of respiratory symptoms without chest pain. This report highlights the necessity of comprehensive evaluation for lung malignancy concurrent with CPD and the importance of identifying the diagnosis of pulmonary dysplasia.

ABSTRACT

Objective: To explore the relationship between medication control regimen and patient compliance in elderly hypertensive patients. Methods: A retrospective analysis of 1432 elderly hypertensive patients in our hospital from February 2020 to February 2021 was conducted. The general data of patients, the drug control regimen, the occurrence of drug side effects, and blood pressure control of patients during hospitalization and outpatient follow-up were statistically analyzed. Results: The first dose rate was higher in patients given a single dose during hospitalization than in patients followed up in outpatient clinics, and the discharge rate was lower than for single doses (P < 0.05). Patients had a lower first dose rate and a higher discharge rate for the two drug combinations during hospitalization compared to outpatient follow-up patients, while the first dose rate and discharge rate were significantly lower during hospitalization. Three drugs were administered (P < 0.05). A higher incidence of first-dose and discharge medication was observed in patients with four drug coadministration during hospitalization than in patients with outpatient follow-up. The incidence of angiotensin-converting enzyme inhibitors (dry cough) was higher and the incidence of diuretics (hypokalemia) was lower in patients during hospitalization compared with patients at outpatient follow-up (P < 0.05). Maximum systolic blood pressure and fluctuations in systolic and diastolic blood pressure were lower in well compliant patients than in poorly compliant patients (P < 0.05). First systolic, maximal systolic, first diastolic, maximal diastolic, systolic and diastolic fluctuations were higher in hospitalised patients than in patients with outpatient follow-up, regardless of treatment compliance (P < 0.05). Conclusion: Elderly hypertensive patients with outpatient follow-up had the best discharge medication compliance, patients during hospitalization showed good medication compliance, and patients with outpatient follow-up had poor medication compliance.

ABSTRACT

Esophageal cancer (EC) is a common malignant tumor of the digestive system. Exploring the molecular biological mechanism of EC will help to clarify its carcinogenesis mechanism, find important molecular targets in the process of carcinogenesis, and provide new ideas for the diagnosis and treatment of EC. Phosphatidylinositol-3-kinase (PI3K)/protein kinase B (Akt) signaling pathway is one of the signal transduction pathways most closely related to cell proliferation and apoptosis. The regulation of various downstream molecules affects the proliferation and growth of tumor cells. In this study, we determined the effect of different concentrations of afuresertib on cell viability by MTT assay and determined the effect of afuresertib on cell apoptosis by Annexin V-FITC/PI dual staining. Animal experiments verified the effects of afuresertib on VEGF, bFGF, and PI3K/Akt. Our results indicated that afuresertib is closely related to the survival, proliferation, and apoptosis of esophageal cancer cell lines. More importantly, we found that afuresertib could reduce tumor volume and mass in EC rats through in vivo experiments. In conclusion, afuresertib may exert its antitumor effect by inhibiting the expression of PI3K and Akt-related proteins in rat tumor tissues.

ABSTRACT

Background: To evaluate the clinical efficacy of psychotherapy combined with acupoint herbal application on elderly patients with pulmonary tuberculosis. Methods: From January 2019 to January 2021, sixty elderly patients with pulmonary tuberculosis treated in our hospital were assessed for eligibility and recruited. They were concurrently assigned (1:1) via the random envelope method to receive either psychotherapy plus acupoint herbal application (observation group) or conventional treatment (conventional group) acupoint herbal application. Results: Psychotherapy plus acupoint herbal application was associated with significantly higher levels of pulmonary functions indices and immune function indices versus conventional treatment. Psychotherapy plus acupoint herbal application resulted in lower SAS and SDS scores versus conventional treatment. The combined treatment showed a better clinical efficacy and sputum negative rate versus conventional treatment. Conclusion: Psychotherapy plus acupoint herbal application improves the lung function and immune function of patients with pulmonary tuberculosis and relieves their negative emotions, which contributes to better treatment efficacy and merits clinical promotion.

ABSTRACT

The mitigation effects of park green space on Urban Heat Island (UHI) have been extensively documented. However, the relative effects of the configuration of park components on land surface temperature (LST) inside the park and indicators (i.e., park cooling intensity and distance) surrounding the park is largely unknown. Therefore, the main objective of this study is to explore the quantitative impacts of configuration and morphology features under different urban park scales on the cooling effect. In this study, based on Landsat-8 OLI/TIRS images on 3 August 2015 and 16 August 2020 during summer daytime, the LSTs of Shanghai City were retrieved by atmospheric correction method. Then, the relationships of park landscape features with LSTs in the park and typical indicators representing cooling efficiency of 24 parks on different grades were analyzed. The results showed that the average temperature in urban parks was, respectively, 1.46 °C and 1.66 °C lower than that in the main city of Shanghai in 2015 and 2020, suggesting that urban parks form cold islands in the city. The landscape metrics of park area (PA), park perimeter (PP), green area (GA) and water area (WA), were key characteristics that strong negatively affect the internal park LSTs. However, the park perimeter-to-area ratio (PPAR) had a significant positive power correlation with the park LSTs. Buffer zone analysis showed that LST cools down by about 0.67 °C when the distance from the park increases by 100 m. The Maximum Cooling Distance (MCD) for 2015 and 2020 had a significant correlation with PA, PC, PPAR, GA and WA, and increased sharply within the park area of 20 ha. However, the medium park group had the largest Maximum Cooling Intensity (MCI) in both periods, followed by the small park group. There could be a trade-off relationship between the MCD and MCI in urban parks, which is worth pondering to research. This study could be of great significance for planning and constructing park landscapes, alleviating Urban Heat Island effect and improving urban livability.

ABSTRACT

BACKGROUND AND OBJECTIVES: To assess the general and nutritional health of children with attention deficit/ hyperactivity disorder (ADHD). METHODS AND STUDY DESIGN: The National Multicenter Sleep Research Database for 23791 school-age children in grades 1-6 from 9 cities in China was accessed. Children with a specialist diagnosis of ADHD or not (non-ADHD) in 2005 were studied. National anthropometric growth standards for children aged 2-18 years classified children as underweight, wasted, stunted (short stature presumed nutritional), or overweight/obesity. Independent variables were preterm birth, sleep quality and prior disease and ADHD was the dependent variable. Binary logistic regression models were developed along with interaction analyses for associated disorder or disease on overweight/obesity, and stunted. RESULTS: Some 18731 records were analyzed for 808 children with ADHD. The comparative prevalences for ADHD with non-ADHD children were stunted 9.8% vs 5.9% (p<0.001) and overweight/ obesity (32.6% vs 29.6%, p=0.002) respectively. ADHD boys were more often underweight (7.5% vs 5.3%, p=0.027), but not in girls. ADHD likelihood Odds Ratios, ORs (with 95%CI) were for premature birth 1.838, (1.393-2.423), allergic diseases 1.915 (1.526-2.399), otitis media 1.54 (1.118- 2.146), tonsillar or adenoid hypertrophy1.662 (1.348-2.050), gastroesophageal reflux 3.008(1.792-1.792-5.049), and sleep disorder 2.201(1.847-2.623) were ADHD risk factors. Only poor sleep quality and ADHD exhibited an interaction for stunted with OR=0.409 (0.233-0.719). CONCLUSIONS: Compromised and complex nutritional health in ADHD children challenges clinical nutrition with a range of health problems, albeit coherent with the needed nutritional emphasis in the 'first 1000 days'.

ABSTRACT

BACKGROUND: Diabetes is a metabolic disease which has been confirmed to be involved with abnormal or excessive body fat accumulation. There is still a lack of nationwide research in China to discuss the relationship between adiposity indicators included body mass index (BMI), waist circumference (WC), visceral adiposity index, waist-height ratio, waist-to-hip ratio (WHR) and diabetes. The question of which one is the best indicator of obesity to predict diabetes in China remains to be unclear. METHODS: Data were collected from the China Health and Nutrition Survey (CHNS) in 2009, including 7,930 participants aged over 18 years old for cross-sectional analysis. Information about height, weight, WC, hip circumference, smoking status, alcohol consumption, physical activity, energy intake and blood samples were analyzed. Binary logistic regression models were used to explore the association of WC, BMI, WHR, waist-to-height ration (WHtR) and visceral adipose index (VAI) with the prevalence of diabetes in the 2009 CHNS respectively. Predictive potential of five adiposity indicators was validated by the area under the receiver operator characteristic curve (AUROC). The optimal cut-off points were determined by Youden's index, which was used to estimate the performance of adiposity indicators. RESULTS: The study shows patients in the highest quartile were more likely to have diabetes than those in the lowest quartile of WC (OR: 4.237, 95% CI: 3.265-5.499), BMI (OR: 3.312, 95% CI: 2.601-4.218), WHR (OR: 3.199, 95% CI: 2.493-4.104), WHtR (OR: 3.760, 95% CI: 2.891-4.890), VAI (OR: 4.347, 95% CI: 3.411-5.541). The area under the receiver operator characteristic curve of WC, BMI, WHR, WHtR and VAI for diabetes was 0.700, 0.663, 0.668, and 0.697 and 0.694, respectively. The optimal cut-offs regarding diabetes in Chinese are WHtR ≥0.520 for men and VAI ≥1.878 for women. CONCLUSIONS: Our findings indicate that WC, WHtR, BMI, WHR and VAI are all independent risk factors for diabetes among Chinese adults. WHtR is the most accurate indicator for diabetes in men, while VAI for women.

ABSTRACT

This article examines algorithmic trading and some key failures and risks associated with it, including so-called algorithmic 'flash crashes'. Drawing on documentary sources, 189 interviews with market participants, and fieldwork conducted at an algorithmic trading firm, we argue that automated markets are characterized by tight coupling and complex interactions, which render them prone to large-scale technological accidents, according to Perrow's normal accident theory. We suggest that the implementation of ideas from research into high-reliability organizations offers a way for trading firms to curb some of the technological risk associated with algorithmic trading. Paradoxically, however, certain systemic conditions in markets can allow individual firms' high-reliability practices to exacerbate market instability, rather than reduce it. We therefore conclude that in order to make automated markets more stable (and curb the impact of failures), it is important to both widely implement reliability-enhancing practices in trading firms and address the systemic risks that follow from the tight coupling and complex interactions of markets.

ABSTRACT

OBJECTIVE: To first report the application of percutaneous full-endoscopic anterior transcorporeal cervical discectomy (PEATCD) with channel repair for a patient with adjacent segment disease (ASD) after anterior cervical discectomy and fusion. METHODS: PEATCD with channel repair was performed for a patient with ASD at the cranial level adjacent to previous fusion at the C5-C6 level. The pre- and postoperative clinical symptoms were evaluated with Japanese Orthopedic Association and visual analog scale (VAS). The radiological examinations included magnetic resonance imaging, computed tomography, and plain radiographs, which were used to evaluate the cervical alignment, stability, intraoperative decompression, and bony channel. RESULTS: The procedure was successfully completed within 70 minutes. The drainage tube was unnecessary. No surgery-related complications were recorded. The postoperative neck pain immediately improved to VAS 3 from preoperative VAS 6. The Japanese Orthopedic Association scores also took a turn for the better gradually from preoperative 10 to final 16 (improvement rate 85.7%). The muscle power recovered completely, and the Hoffman sign turned to negative during follow-up periods. Magnetic resonance imaging 1 week postoperatively showed a total removal of the herniation. The bony channel was almost disappeared on computed tomography images 3 months postoperatively. During postoperative periods, no relapse, channel collapse, bone plug migration, or instability was observed. CONCLUSION: As a novel and supplemental procedure for ASD after anterior cervical discectomy and fusion, PEATCD combines the advantages of transcorporeal approach and endoscopy together, which decreases iatrogenic damage to disc, preserves the cervical motion segment, and reduces surgical trauma. As the limitations of 1 case show, the effectiveness and reliability of PEATCD for patients with ASD should be verified in further studies.

ABSTRACT

Fabrication of metal nanoparticle (NP)-based strain sensors with both a broad working range and linearity range is still a significant challenge. Typically, homogeneous conductive percolation networks are indispensable for linear sensing performance, whereas inhomogeneous microstructures may inevitably arise under large strain due to the formation of defects in rigid NPs. In this study, a sandwich-structured strain sensor with an extraordinarily large stretchability (800%) yet self-healing property is fabricated by three-dimensional printing using a liquid metal-like Ag NP ink. The strain sensor shows an initial conductivity of 248 S cm-1, a good linearity in two strain ranges, and a long-term stability after undergoing 5000 cycles under a strain level of 100%. Such highly comprehensive sensing performance is attributed to the unique structure of the Ag NP ink, in which Ag NPs coalesce together after room-temperature sintering triggered by chlorides, and then, the sintered Ag aggregates tend to form continuous conductive networks through hydrogen bonds between polyacrylic acid and carboxymethylcellulose. Further, the free flow of Ag aggregates is the root cause that leads to the change of relative resistance as demonstrated by finite element simulation. This Ag NP-based strain sensor shows high potential for application in monitoring human knuckle motion.

ABSTRACT

OBJECTIVE: To compare the clinical efficacy of titanium cable biomimetic reconstruction of coracoclavicular ligament and clavicular hook plate in the treatment of acromioclavicular joint dislocation. METHODS: The clinical data of 39 patients with severe acute acromioclavicular joint dislocation from January 2017 to December 2018 were retrospectively analyzed, 19 patients in double strand titanium cable group, including 13 males and 6 females, aged from 26 to 67 years old; Rockwood classification:10 cases of type Ⅲ, 4 cases of type Ⅳ and 5 cases of type Ⅴ;8 cases of traffic injury and 11 cases of fall injury;the time from injury to operation was 3 to 6 days. There were 20 patients in steel plate group, including 15 males and 5 females, aged from 25 to 71 years old. Rockwood classification:11 cases of type Ⅲ, 4 cases of typeⅣ, 5 cases of type Ⅴ;7 cases of traffic injury, 13 cases of fall injury;the time from injury to operation was 2 to 7 days. The length of incision, operation time, intraoperative blood loss, cost, VAS score before and after operation, and Constant-Murley score before and after operation were compared between two groups. Postoperative X-ray films were taken to observe the reduction and maintenance of acromioclavicular joint dislocation. Complications were recorded. RESULTS: Thirty-six patients were followed up for 12 to 14 months. The amount of intraoperative blood loss in the two groups was basically the same. The operation incision in double strand titanium cable group was shorter, the operation time in steel plate group was shorter, and the operation cost in double strand titanium cable group was less. One week and one year after operation, the pain of double strand titanium cable group was less than that of steel plate group. One year after operation, the Constant-Murley score of double strand titanium cable group was higher than that of steel plate group. The postoperative X-ray showed that the acromioclavicular joint in double strand titanium cable group was well reduced, and there was 1 case with slight reduction loss. In the plate group, there was no reduction loss after removal of the clavicular hook plate, and 8 patients had distal clavicular bone atrophy or acromion bone resorption. In steel plate group, 4 cases had long-term postoperative pain, postoperative dysfunction and other complications. CONCLUSION: The clinical effect of coracoclavicular ligament reconstruction with double strand titanium cable is better than that of clavicular hook plate in the treatment of severe acute acromioclavicular joint dislocation, with less trauma (no secondary operation) and lower cost.

ABSTRACT

OBJECTIVE: To establish a three-dimensional finite element model of osteoporosis and to study the stiffness recovery of injured vertebrae and stress analysis of adjacent vertebrae after percutaneous vertebroplasty under different perfusion and distribution conditions by simulating fluid flow into the vertebral body. METHODS: A male healthy volunteer was selected. CT scans were performed from T11 to L2. Mimics 15.0 and ABAQUS 6.11 software were used to extract CT images. The vertebral model of osteoporotic fracture was established. The flow physical field and conduction and diffusion physical field were coupled to simulate the process and parts of the injection of bone cement into the vertebral fracture model. The amount of bone cement injected into the vertebral fracture model was 2 ml, 4 ml, 6 ml respectively. The diffusion range of bone cement was simulated on the image, and the post injection model of bone cement was obtained. Vertical downward, forward and backward pressure of 300 N were applied on the surface of the model to simulate vertebral movement. The stress changes of upper and lower vertebrae and diseased vertebrae under different conditions were calculated. RESULTS: (1) The VonMises stress of T12 inferior endplate was the largest in the three states before and after fracture.(2) The VonMises stress of the intervertebral disc and each endplate after fracture was significantly higher than before fracture. When percutaneous vertebroplasty was applied, as the amount of bone cement injection increases, the VonMises stress of the adjacent vertebral endplates increases. In the diseased vertebrae, as the amount of bone cement increases, the VonMises stress of the vertebral body endplate showed a downward trend. CONCLUSION: Reliable biomechanical model of lumbar vertebral fracture can be established by using CT scanning data through software simulation. Vertebral fracture and vertebroplasty will cause biomechanical changes of adjacent vertebral bodies. With the increase of bone cement injection, the influence of biomechanical changes will increase significantly. Neighbouring vertebral fractures are more likely. For this experiment, percutaneous vertebroplasty has a suitable amount of cement injection of 4 ml.

Complications were recorded.@*RESULTS@#Thirty-six patients were followed up for 12 to 14 months. In steel plate group, 4 cases had long-term postoperative pain, postoperative dysfunction and other complications.@*CONCLUSION@#The clinical effect of coracoclavicular ligament reconstruction with double strand titanium cable is better than that of clavicular hook plate in the treatment of severe acute acromioclavicular joint dislocation, with less trauma (no secondary operation) and lower cost.

ABSTRACT

OBJECTIVE@#To establish a three-dimensional finite element model of osteoporosis and to study the stiffness recovery of injured vertebrae and stress analysis of adjacent vertebrae after percutaneous vertebroplasty under different perfusion and distribution conditions by simulating fluid flow into the vertebral body.@*METHODS@#A male healthy volunteer was selected. CT scans were performed from T@*RESULTS@#(1) The VonMises stress of T@*CONCLUSION@#Reliable biomechanical model of lumbar vertebral fracture can be established by using CT scanning data through software simulation.
