ABSTRACT

Long non-coding RNAs (lncRNA) have been identified as essential components having considerable modulatory impactson biological activities through altering gene transcription, epigenetic changes, and protein translation. Cyclin-dependent kinase inhibitor 2B antisense RNA 1 (CDKN2B-AS1), a recently discovered lncRNA, was shown to be substantially elevated in various cancers.Furthermore, via modulation ofvarious signalingaxes, it is effectively connected to the control of critical cancer-associatedbiological pathways likecell proliferation, apoptosis, cell cycle, epithelial-mesenchymal transition(EMT), invasion, and migration. Considering the crucial functions ofCDKN2B-AS1in cancer onset and development, this lncRNA offers immense therapeutic implications for usage as a new diagnostic or treatment approach. In this article, we evaluate the most recent discoveries made into the functions of the lncRNA CDKN2B-AS1 in cancer, in addition to its prospect asbeneficial properties, prognostic anddiagnostic biomarkersin the cancer-related treatment, emphasizingits participation in a broad network of signalingaxes whichcould affectvariouscancers and investigating its promising therapeutic possibility.

ABSTRACT

Increasing data have shown the significance of various miRNAs in malignancy. In this regard, parallel to its biological role in normal tissues, miRNA-128 (miR-128) has been found to play an essential immunomodulatory function in the process of cancer initiation and development. The occurrence of the aberrant expression of miR-128 in tumors and the unique properties of miRNAs raise the prospect of their use as biomarkers and the next generation of molecular anticancer therapies. The function of miR-128 in malignancies such as breast, prostate, colorectal, gastric, pancreatic, esophageal, cervical, ovarian and bladder cancers and hepatocellular carcinoma is discussed in this review. Finally, the effect of exosomal miR-128 on cancer resistance to therapeutics and cancer immunotherapy in certain malignancies is highlighted.

ABSTRACT

Today, due to the end of fossil fuels and efforts to reduce the use of renewable resources, wind energy is a suitable option for the production of electrical energy due to its high-power generation. To increase the output efficiency of wind turbines, maximum power point tracking techniques are required for wind turbine energy conversion systems. In this research, the maximum power point (MPPT) method for two-way fed wind turbine systems (DFIG) is presented. The performance of the induction generator is presented on both sides of the power and the values of this generator such as speed, torque, voltage, current and maximum power at the time of wind speed changes. The presented work is presented in two scenarios and the model is performed without the algorithm then, a maximum power point tracking method based on the Colonial Competition Algorithm (ICA) has been applied to estimate the power of the two power induction generators. According to the results, it can be said that in the scenario with the algorithm of generating electric power by the turbine, several times in the production state is 9 MW, which is the rate of the turbine's nominal power, while in another scenario, the power generated by the turbine is 85% of the power in the state with the algorithm.

ABSTRACT

Ovarian cancer (OV) is the second most mortal gynecological malignancy. The oncomarker CA125 has been used as the main ovarian cancer marker for diagnosing and screening ovarian cancer in stages I and II. Therefore, sensitive and real-time detection of CA 125 is critical in ovarian cancer monitoring. Various tests are used to diagnose the CA 125. In recent years, modern methods such as biosensor technology have replaced the old tests for rapid, sensitive and specific detection of CA 125. Various types of biosensors are being developed, among which Surface Plasmon resonance (SPR) biosensors are one of the most important and remarkable types. Considering the importance of SPR biosensors in the diagnosis of enocomarker CA 125, the main focus of the present study is to consolidate the research work from the past two decade to the present. Also, the advantages and challenges in SPR biosensors development have been considered in the detection of CA 125 oncomarker.
