ABSTRACT
Se realizó un estudio descriptivo prospectivo en el que se incluyeron 100 pacientes con diagnóstico de psoriasis, se investigó sobre sus antecedentes patológicos personales, y hábitos tóxicos, además se les realizaron complementarios para determinar los niveles de glicemia en ayunas y de lípidos en sangre, también se les determinó el índice de masa corporal, obteniendo con esto la asociación de la psoriasis con otras enfermedades como la hipertensión arterial, la diabetes mellitus, la hiperlipemia, la cardiopatía isquémica , la obesidad, el hábito de fumar y el consumo de alcohol en este grupo de pacientes (AU)
