The tasks and aims of psychosomatic rehabilitation medicine are described: diagnostics, details of hospitalisation and psychotherapy are described. To enhance the therapeutic value of the psychosomatic hospital somatotherapy and psychotherapy are co-ordinated for the patient's benefit.
