ABSTRACT

The problems of so-called "therapy resistant or chronic" depression has been investigated on own patients of the year 1986, but simply one chronic example could be noticed. Configurations-frequence-analytic research didn't essentially result in significant statements. It is referred to that the frequent occurrence of the so-called "therapy resistant" depressions described by some authors, could be in connection with limited diagnosis inventories and insufficient to the personality orientated therapy regime.

ABSTRACT

All patients treated at the County Hospital for Neurology and Psychiatry in Ueckermuende from 1981 to 1984 with Klopazin were included in a critical analysis of the side effects of the drug, paying special attention to those reported in the literature. Besides the symptoms already identified, delirium and hypotonic circulation dysregulation are receiving increased clinical attention, which indicates that special care methods are called for.

ABSTRACT

118 of 129 pre-operative patients with invasive cervical carcinoma of stage Ib to IIb from 1974 to 1978 were examined lymphographically. Abdominal radical hysterectomy according to Wertheim with obligatory lymphonodectomy followed in all cases. Results of the histologic examination of lymphnodes have been compared with the findings from lymphography, whereby a coincidence could be proved in 84 per cent of all cases. The correlation for the lumbar and iliac lymphonodi was listed separately in 75 per cent of the cases. Lymphography gives significantly better results within the lumbar region with an accuracy rate of 92 per cent, a sensitivity of 100 per cent and a specificity of 98.5 per cent. It may be concluded that a lumbar lymphonodectomy is not necessary in the event of a negative lymphography.
