On the basis of a sample consisting of 200 cadavers of both sexes in the age group from 0 to 65 years, a study was performed concerning kidney shape, type of kidney pelvis as well as attempts to correlate the relationship between the 2 kidney traits. In the first phase of analysis of experimental data, attention was paid to the appearance of sex-linked differences, as well as changes arising from the age, seen in the afore mentioned traits. In the second phase, exact statistical analysis was performed to show the relationship of kidney shape with renal pelvis type. The performed analyses indicates that the connection between kidney measurements and renal pelvis type is weak and statistically insignificant.

The examinations were performed on the application of the Polish epoxide resin Epidian 51 for anatomical technics. Most favourable hardener and pigment composition was worked out. Epidian 51 was used as injection mass for corrosive preparations, and also to prepare bone casts or to immerse dry preparations.

The authors carried out an analysis of metric characteristics of canalis infraorbitalis and foramen infraorbitale on the material of 186 skulls of adult individuals coming from the Department of Normal Anatomy of the Medical Academy in Wroclaw. They also analysed various shapes of foramen infraorbitale with regard to asymmetry. They found that the position of foramen infraorbitale in the sagittal plane and transverse plane of the face is characterized by great anatomical variability. They andicate cases the consideration of which may contribute to the decrease in the number of failure during local anesthesia of branches of n. infraorbitalis. It is concluded that the shape of foramen infraorbitale and the occurance of asymmetry of its modification may undergo population variability.

The use of Polish-made synthetic latex LBS 3022 in the anatomical technique was studied. The optimal composition of the latex mixture was established with due consideration of pigments, emulgators, stabilizers and curing substances. The LBS 3022 synthetic latex meets the demands applicable to good injection composition as being capable of filling the vessels of different section area, and quick setting by way of coagulation. The obtained castings are durable; they feature considerable tensile strength and elasticity.
