A experiência de tornar-se mãe, sendo uma mulher com deficiência física, cadeirante, no Sistema Único de Saúde / The experience of becoming a mother, being a woman with physical disabilities, in a wheelchair, in the Unified Health System

Resumo No modelo social da deficiência é possível conceber que a experiência de exclusão e desigualdade vivenciada por pessoas com deficiência surge a partir da interação de um corpo com lesão e uma sociedade não inclusiva. Tal modelo aproxima a deficiência da questão de Direitos Humanos, o que inclui o direito ao acesso à saúde, preconizada no Brasil pelo Sistema Único de Saúde (SUS). A pesquisa buscou relatar a experiência de uma mulher com deficiência física, cadeirante, que viveu a experiência de tornar-se mãe sendo assistida pelos serviços de saúde da mulher no SUS, por meio de um estudo de caso em um Hospital e Maternidade pública Municipal , referência para saúde da mulher, Hospital Amigo da Criança e Hospital de Ensino na zona norte de São Paulo, por meio de entrevista semi-dirigida, utilizando o método fenomenológico, que visa aproximar-se do sentido da experiência para o sujeito. Foram relatados os pontos mais relevantes trazidos no discurso. Foi notado que todos os serviços de saúde pelo qual a entrevistada foi assistida durante a gestação, parto e puerpério não estavam preparados para receber uma mulher com deficiência física, além disso, foi visto que a entrevistada teve dificuldades de reconhecer seus direitos enquanto pessoa com deficiência e que ocorreu uma identificação entre a entrevistada e a entrevistadora, que também é uma mulher com deficiência física. Abstract Based on the social model of disability, it is possible to conceive that the experience of exclusion and inequality experienced by people with disabilities arises from the interaction of an injured body and a non-inclusive society, such a model brings disability closer to a Human Rights issue, which includes the right to access health, recommended in Brazil by the Unified Health System (SUS). With this in mind, the research sought to report the experience of a woman with physical disabilities, in a wheelchair, who lived the experience of becoming a mother being assisted by SUS services, through a case study in a Municipal Public Hospital and Maternity, a reference for women's health, BabyFriendly Hospital and Teaching Hospital in the north of São Paulo, through semi-directed interviews, using the phenomenological method, which aims to get closer to the meaning of the experience for the subject. The most relevant points brought up in the speech were reported. It was noted that all the health services by which the interviewee was assisted during pregnancy, childbirth and puerperium were not fully prepared to receive a woman with physical disabilities, in addition, it was seen that the interviewee still has difficulties in recognizing her rights as a person with disabilities and that there was an identification between the interviewee and the interviewer who is also a woman with a physical disability.
