ABSTRACT
Se realizó una investigación aplicada con el propósito de implementar un entorno virtual de enseñanza - aprendizaje como aula virtual para el aprendizaje sobre redes informáticas en la Filial Universitaria Municipal: Policlínico Luis E de la Paz Reina del municipio Yara. Para la realización de este trabajo se utilizaron métodos científicos, entre los teóricos se encuentran el análisis síntesis, inducción deducción y sistémico-estructural funcional. El universo estuvo representado por 15 estudiantes en el período 2013. Entre los empíricos: observación y experimento. Se diseñó el entorno virtual de manera exitosa quedando definida la interfaz gráfica con sitiosy aplicaciones visuales atractivas, que superaron todas las expectativas, el cual fue implementado como aula virtual en dicha filial y se valoró su factibilidad en la práctica social(AU)
It was carried out an investigation with the purpose of implementing a virtual environment of the teaching -learning process like a virtual classroom for the learning of computer networks in the Municipal University Branch: Luis E de la Paz Reina in Yara. For the performance of this work there were used some scientific methods, among the theoretical ones we applied the analysis -synthesis, induction - deduction and systemic-structural functional. The universe was represented by 15 students in the period 2013. Among the empiricalones we applied the observation and experiment. It was designed the virtual environment in a successful way being defined the graphic interfacewith sites and attractive visual applications that overcame all the expectations, it was implemented as a virtual classroom in this branch and its feasibility was valued in the social practice(AU)

Se realizó un estudio descriptivo-prospectivo, período enero-junio del año 2010, en la Biblioteca del Policlínico Universitario Luis Enrique de la Paz Reina, en el Municipio Yara, Provincia Granma; con el objetivo de evaluar la utilización de la Biblioteca Virtual de Salud (BVS) por los médicos y enfermeras de la familia proponiendo un sistema de actividades que estimulen el uso de la misma. Los resultados de la encuesta que se aplicó se presentaron en tablas estadísticas que expresan el bajo nivel de conocimientos y el poco uso de la información que genera o posee el centro en los recursos informativos. Los especialistas en Medicina General Integral utilizaron con más frecuencia los servicios de la BVS con ayuda de las bibliotecarias y más del 70 por ciento manifestó tener necesidad de asesoramiento; por lo cual se trazó un sistema de actividades para estimular y contribuir al uso y explotación de los recursos de la BVS, lo que posibilita que llegue la información necesaria y precisa para el desarrollo de su labor profesional. Teniendo en cuenta la importancia que como fuerza productiva del desarrollo tiene la información, resulta necesario proporcionarle una vía estable para el enriquecimiento del conocimiento de los usuarios objeto de estudio(AU)
It was performed a descriptive-prospective research since January to June, 2010 in the library of the university polyclinic Luis Enrique de la Paz Reina, in Yara, Granma, with the objective to evaluate the Virtual Health Library(VHL) by doctors and nurses of the family, proposing a system of activities to stimulate its use. The results of the survey were presented through statistical charts, showing a low level of knowledge and poor use of the information that creates the center regarding the information resources. The specialists in General Integral Medicine frequently used the services of VHL with the help of librarians and more than 70 percent expressed need of advice, and a system of activities was created in order to stimulate and contribute to the use and exploitation of the resources of the VHL which favours the necessary and precise information for the development of its professional labour. Taking into account the importance of the information as a productive way of development it is necessary to offer a stable way for the improvement of the users' knowledge(EU)
