ABSTRACT
El propósito del presente trabajo fue realizar un estudio preliminar para la validación del Infant Behavior Questionnaire-Revised (IBQ-R, Rothbart y Gartstein, 2000) en población mexicana. Se aplicaron 64 cuestionarios, en Centros de Desarrollo Infantil. El cuestionario fue contestado por las madres de infantes de 6 meses de edad, quienes procedían de la Ciudad de México del nivel socioeconómico medio. Se estudió la estructura interna mediante el anális de extracción de ejes principales con rotación Oblimin, las escalas del instrumento se agruparon en tres factores (alfa total de.=0.94; varianza=58.8%)(F1: Extroversión(.=0.85), F2: Afectividad Negativa(.=0.78) y F3: Regulación(.=0.53). La versión para México mantiene equiparabilidad con la versión original, (mantienen tres factores clínicamnete equivalentes con ligeras modificaciones en las escalas que los componen) lo que convierte al IBQ-R en un instrumento adecuado para la población mexicana(AU)
The intention of the present work was to realize a preliminary study for the validation of the Infant Behavior Questionnaire-Revised (IBQ-R, Rothbart and Gartstein, 2000) in Mexican population. 64 questionnaires were applied, in Centers of Infantile Development. The questionnaire was answered by the mothers of infantes of 6 months of age, who were coming from the Mexico City of the socioeconomic average level. The internal structure was studied by means of the anális of extraction of principal axes by rotation Oblimin, the scales of the instrument gathered in crowds in three factors ( Total alpha of. = 0.94; varianza=58.8 %) (F1: Extroversion (. =0.85), F2: Negative Affectibility (. =0.78) and F3: Regulation (. =0.53). The version for Mexico supports equiparabilidad with the original version, (they support three factors clínicamnete equivalent with light modifications in the scales that them compose) what turns the IBQ-R into an instrument adapted for the Mexican population (AU)
