ABSTRACT
In this paper is reported a case of Q fever which followed a clinical course with a syndrome of self-limited fever. Being discussed are those clinical, diagnostic and therapeutic aspects of the disease; and emphasizing finally that Q fever is not an infrequent clinical entity in our midst.

The first autochthonous case of kala-azar in the province of Navarra is reported. The epidemiology, diagnostic procedures and the criterion for cure are related. The patient showed a very good response to treatment with pentavalent organic antimonials.

We present a case of hepatosplenic sarcoidosis without associated pulmonary affection. We have also revised the literature in this respect with special emphasis on the etiopathogenic aspects. The evolution and treatment followed during the period two liver biopsies were performed. The good response to treatment with steroids, clinically and histopathologically, are commented on.
