[Validity of Gynaegnost in the follow-up of patients treated for ovarian cancer]. / Validité du Gynaegnost dans le suivi de patientes traitées pour cancer de l'ovaire.

Colorimetric assays of LDH on vaginal tampons were carried out in 45 women, following treatment for ovarian cancer, and apparently in complete remission. A small number of false positives seem to have been recorded and the authors plan to pursue this study in order to determine the exact value of this examination.
