ABSTRACT
Introducción: El objetivo del presente trabajo ha sidoevaluar la comorbilidad de los trastornos de personalidaden pacientes con un TCA y su relación con variablessociodemográficas y clínicas.Método: Participaron un total de 98 mujeres con unTCA que estaban siendo atendidas en la Unidad deTrastornos Alimentarios (UTA) del Hospital Universitariode San Juan (Alicante) en régimen ambulatorio. Seles administró la versión española del MCMI-II.Resultados: Un 37,8% de las pacientes presentaba untrastorno de personalidad. En las pacientes con anorexialos más frecuentes fueron el dependiente (28,3%) y elcompulsivo (6,65%), y en la bulimia, el límite (29,65%).Conclusiones: Estos resultados ponen de manifiestola necesidad de realizar una evaluación previa a todaslas pacientes con un TCA que demandan tratamiento yrealizar tratamientos específicos(AU)
Introduction: The aim of this study was to analysecormobidity between personality disorders and eatingdisorders, and the realtion with sociodemographic andclinical variables.Method: A total of 98 female ED outpatients undertreatment in Eating Disorders Unit of San Juan Hospital(Alicante) were recruited. They completed the Spanishversion of MCMI-II.Results: The 37.8% of the eating disorders patientsshowed a personality disorder. In anorexic patients themost prevalent one was dependent (28.3%) followed byobsessive (6.65%), and in bulimia patients was borderline(29.65%).Conclusions: These results suggest the importance ofcarrying out a previous assessment of all demandingtreatment eating disorder patients and to design specifictreatments(AU)
