ABSTRACT

A table differential diagnosis algorithm has been developed to improve the diagnosis of tuberculosis and lung cancer in tuberculosis institutions. The algorithm proved effective already at the stage of primary antituberculosis aid, being a reliable tool in the diagnosis of lung cancer and tuberculosis, contributing to shorter examinations of patients, earlier administration of adequate treatment.

ABSTRACT

Efficiency of tocopherol, its analog with a shortened side chain as well as their quinons for tuberculosis was determined. All the studied compounds inhibited peroxide-formation processes in the liver homogenate and mitochondria. The vitamin E amount in the blood is considerably decreased in case of tuberculosis. The studied analogs increased its content and possessed a weak tuberculostatic but expressed antiedemic and antiinflammatory action. Administration of vitamin E in combination with isoniazid to sick animals had a favourable effect on the processes of tissue respiration and oxidative phosphorylation. If taking a sum of characters, tocopherol acetate with a shortened side chain is the most efficient of all the analogs under study for the tuberculosis therapy.

ABSTRACT

It was established that patients with chronic obstructive bronchitis widely suffered of chronic pancreatitis, diffuse pancreatofibrosis, hypertensive types of disorders of the main sphincters of the biliary system. It was found that solizyme increases the efficacy of complex therapy of the patients with chronic obstructive bronchitis in the presence of diffuse pancreatofibrosis. This improves the indices of bronchial patency and reduces allergization of the body.
