ABSTRACT
Results of treatment of 124 patients with inguinal hernia, to whom endoscopic hernioplasty was performed, were analyzed. In 96 of them transabdominal hernioplasty was done and in 28--the preperitoneal one. In 2 patients the hernia recurrency occurred. The method is mostly effective for recurrent and bilateral hernia. High cost, the necessity to apply narcosis, the danger of peritoneal cavity organs damage are the method shortcomings.
