ABSTRACT

The article deals with methods of treating patients with bradyarrhythmias, life-threatening tachyarrhythmias and chronic heart failure with the use of implantable antiarrhythmic devices permanent pacemakers, cardioverter defibrillators, and cardio-resynchronizing systems. Methods of instrumental and electrocardiographic diagnosis acceptable for such patients are described. The work defines management approaches to these patients in the postoperative and subsequent periods of life.

ABSTRACT

Work of the implanted electric pacemaker (EP) was assessed in 99 patients, aged 62.4±9.6 years, during non-cardiological surgery. Inhibition of the EP stimuli was registered in 9 (9.1%) patients, short episodes of uneffective stimulation with synchronization disturbation--in 2 (2%) patients and change of stimulation regimen was registered in the same number of patients by electocoagulation. Episodes of myopotential inhibition not assotiated with electrocoagulation was registered in 4 cases. The ascertained rhythm disturbances require a thorough preoperative check-up, intraoperative ECG control and short use of monopolar electrocoagulation.

ABSTRACT

The investigation of functional state of cardiovascular system and whole body was conducted in the draftees aged 18-19. Wide spread of pre-nosologic states was revealed that manifested by different disorders but cardiovascular pathology prevailed. However at the moment of investigation these disorders were not nosospecific but showed the presence of strain in the system of body adaptive regulation. The results obtained and information model of adaptive regulation system allowed to determine the most informative and available for military medical commission diagnostic criteria of pre-pathologic states. It will facilitate the appropriate selection of draftees.
