ABSTRACT
Two cases of osteoid osteoma of the elbow producing joint symptoms are reported. The distal humerus was involved in both cases. The patients were young males. They were submitted to marginal excision of the tumor and the pathology samples confirmed the diagnosis. Both patients were pain-free after the treatment. The article compares the author's data on osteoid osteoma of the elbow with the literature, and emphasizes the importance of this entity as an unusual cause of joint pain
