ABSTRACT
This case report presents a 51-year-old male patient with bilateral double-layered patella complicated by severe osteoarthrosis. Bilateral surgery was performed with cruciate substituting arthroplasty. The left knee had minimal patellofemoral arthrosis and good patella tracking, and resurfacing was not performed. The right knee had patella maltracking and trochlear dysplasia with severe arthrosis. Removal of the posterior patella was performed, and the anterior patella was resurfaced. The results were excellent in both knees.
