ABSTRACT

Objective:To observe and analyze the correlation between time within target glucose range (TIR) and hemoglobin A1c (HbA1c) and the risk of diabetic retinopathy (DR).Methods:A retrospective clinical study. From March 2020 to August 2021, 91 patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM) who were hospitalized in Department of Endocrinology and Metabolic Diseases, Affiliated Hospital of Weifang Medical University, were included in the study. All patients underwent Oburg's no-dilatation ultra-wide-angle laser scan ophthalmoscopy, HbA1c and continuous glucose monitoring (CGM) examinations. According to the examination results and combined with the clinical diagnostic criteria of DR, the patients were divided into non-DR (NDR) group and DR group, with 50 and 41 cases respectively. The retrospective CGM system was used to monitor the subcutaneous interstitial fluid glucose for 7 to 14 consecutive days, and the TIR was calculated. Binary logistic regression was used to analyze the correlation between TIR, HbAlc and DR in patients with T2DM0. At the same time, a new indicator was generated, the predicted probability value (PRE_1), which was generated to represent the combined indicator of TIR and HbA1c in predicting the occurrence of DR. The receiver operating characteristic curve (ROC curve) was used to analyze the value of TIR, HbAlc and PRE_1 in predicting the occurrence of DR.Results:The TIR of patients in the NDR group and DR group were (81.58±15.51)% and (67.27±22.09)%, respectively, and HbA1c were (8.03±2.16)% and (9.01±2.01)%, respectively. The differences in TIR and HbA1c between the two groups of patients were statistically significant ( t=3.501,-2.208; P=0.001, 0.030). The results of binary logistic regression analysis showed that TIR, HbA1c and DR were significantly correlated (odds ratio=0.960, 1.254; P=0.002, 0.036). ROC curve analysis results showed that the area under the ROC curve (AUC) of TIR, HbA1c and PRE_1 predicting the risk of DR were 0.704, 0.668, and 0.707, respectively [95% confidence interval ( CI) 0.597-0.812, P=0.001; 95% CI 0.558-0.778, P=0.006; 95% CI 0.602-0.798, P=0.001]. There was no statistically significant difference between TIR, HbA1c and PRE_1 predicting the AUC of DR risk ( P>0.05). The linear equation between HbAlc and TIR was HbAlc (%) = 11.37-0.04×TIR (%). Conclusions:TIR and HbA1c are both related to DR and can predict the risk of DR. The combined use of the two does not improve the predictive value of DR. There is a linear correlation between TIR and HbAlc.

ABSTRACT

Objective:To analyze Helicobacter pylori ( Hp) resistance in Xiaoshan area from 2013 to 2020 and to provide reference for the selection of clinical antibiotics for the eradication of Hp in this area. Methods:Non-repetitive Hp strains isolated from patients treated in the First People′s Hospital of Xiaoshan District, Hangzhou from January 2013 to December 2020 and the drug susceptibility test results of these strains were collected. The patients were grouped by every 10 years of age to analyze the drug resistance of Hp in different groups and its changing trends. Results:A total of 54 912 Hp strains were isolated and cultured. The resistance rates of Hp isolates to amoxicillin, metronidazole, clarithromycin and levofloxacin were 0.42%, 92.94%, 22.41% and 29.83%, respectively. The drug resistance rates to clarithromycin and levofloxacin were increasing year by year. The resistance rates to levofloxacin, clarithromycin and metronidazole increased with age. The resistance rates to clarithromycin, levofloxacin and metronidazole in women were higher than those in men, especially in the 21-60 age group. The resistance rate to clarithromycin was significantly higher in people under 20 years old. In 2017 to 2019, the resistance rate to amoxicillin was higher in people under 20 years old than in other age groups. In 2020, the resistance rates to levofloxacin and clarithromycin in people over 70 years old both exceed 57% and increased rapidly. Conclusions:The resistance rates of Hp to levofloxacin, clarithromycin and metronidazole in Xiaoshan area were all at a high level. It was recommended to use individualized treatments for the eradication of Hp. In addition, attention should be paid to the young and older people.

ABSTRACT

Objective@#To explore the correlation between pull-up ability and upper body composition of male college students in a college in Guangxi, and to provide scientific guidance for college students’ exercise.@*Methods@#A total of 685 male college students were randomly selected from a college in Guangxi.Pull up tests were implemented according to the national physical health test standards. Measurements of muscle mass, fat mass, fat percentage, etc. of the upper limbs were conducted by using the Ogilvy Body Composition Meter (TANITA MC-180). Data entry and analysis were performed by using SPSS 23.0.@*Results@#The pass rate of male college students in the region was 21.7%; There was a statistically significant difference in the fat mass and percentage of body fat between males with different pull-up ability (F=11.30,14.18,12.91,15.22,P<0.01).After controlling age, height, weight and BMI, partial correlation analysis showed that there was a negative correlation between the pull-up ability of male college students and the fat mass and limb fat rate of both upper limbs(r=-0.22, -0.33, -0.31, -0.38, P<0.01).@*Conclusion@#The ability of male students in Guangxi to pull up is needed to be improved. Pull-up exercises can reduce fat mass and fat percentage in the upper limbs and improve body composition.

ABSTRACT

To achieve closed trajectory motion planning of redundant manipulators, each joint angle has to be returned to its initial position. Most of the repeatable motion schemes have been proposed to solve kinematic problems considering only the initial desired position of each joint at first. Actually, it is very difficult for various joint angles of the robot arms to be positioned in the expected trajectory before moving. To construct an effective kinematic model, a novel optimal programming index based on a recurrent neural network is designed and analyzed in this paper. The repetitiveness and timeliness are presented and analyzed. Combining the kinematic equation constraint of manipulators, a repeatable motion scheme is formulated. In addition, the Lagrange multiplier theorem is introduced to prove that such a repeatable motion scheme can be converted into a time-varying linear equation. A finite-time neural network solver is constructed for the solution of the motion scheme. Simulation results for two different trajectories illustrate the accuracy and timeliness of the proposed motion scheme. Finally, two different repetitive schemes are compared and verified the optimal time for the novelty of the proposed kinematic scheme.

ABSTRACT

Objective To observe the clinical efficacy of moving cupping in the anterior cervical region plus bloodletting in treating acute pharyngitis.Method Thirty-six patients with acute pharyngitis were randomized into two groups, 18 cases each. The treatment group was intervened by moving cupping in the anterior cervical region plus bloodletting at Tiantu (CV22), and the control group was intervened by oral administration of Pu Di Lanoral liquid. The therapeutic efficacy was evaluated by using the acute pharyngitis symptoms grading scale, and the adverse reactions in the treatment group were also observed.Result The two treatment methods were both effective, and the between-group difference in comparing the total effective rate was statistically insignificant (P>0.05). Compared with the control group, the treatment group showed a swifter action; pharyngeal pain, dry and burning sensations in pharynx, and mucus congestion were effectively improved, the disease duration was shortened, and there were no adverse reactions in the treatment group. Conclusion Moving cupping in the anterior cervical region plus bloodletting can effectively mitigate the sufferings of the patients with acute pharyngitis without producing any adverse reactions.
