ABSTRACT
Este trabalho buscou abordar algumas das modificações que aconteceram na instituição do casamento do século XVII até o século XXI e, a partir dessas mudanças, quais são os tipos de famílias que podemos encontrar atualmente e as diversas formas de convívio entre seus elementos. As autoras comentam, além disso, os desdobramentos que podem ocorrer após a ruptura do vínculo conjugal. Contrariamente ao que se pensava até as últimas décadas do século passado, os filhos cujos pais se separaram podem lidar com a situação de forma melhor do que se imaginava, podendo sair, inclusive, fortalecidos após a elaboração da mudança no padrão familiar. É também abordada a importância da constelação do arquétipo do herói e do arquétipo da criança para uma elaboração bem-sucedida dos conflitos.
This paper addresses some of the changes that took place in the institution of marriage between the seventeenth and the twenty first centuries. Based on these changes, the paper discusses the types of families we can find nowadays and the many ways in which these families live together. Additionally the authors discuss the outcomes that may arise after the rupturing of the couple's relationship. As opposed to what was believed until the last decades of the past century children from broken ralationships can deal with the situation better than one would imagine, being able to come out of the situation even stronger, after the development of changes in the traditional "family pattern". The importance of the constellation of the hero's archetype and the child's archetype for a successful outcome of the conflicts is also adressed in the paper.
