ABSTRACT
KIE: A recent World Psychiatric Association symposium in Copenhagen devoted a session to the discussion of torture: its prevalence, its increasing sophistication, the complicity of medical doctors in some countries, and treatment of victims by the Danish Rehabilitation Centre. Rafaelsen summarizes the discussions and comments that, though most of the speakers addressed problems in South America, torture is a worldwide problem.^ieng
