ABSTRACT
El objetivo de este trabajo es valorarla posible asociación entre las proporciones corona-implante (C/I) de las restauraciones implantosoportadas y la pérdida de hueso crestal periimplantario. Tras la revisión de 1.064 implantes colocados en 416 pacientes -incluidos en los diversos artículos consultados-, se analizaron las diversas variables que pueden influir en la pérdida ósea periimplantaria (proporción corona-implante y relación entre ambas). No se ha encontrado asociación entre dichas variables, a excepción de uno de los estudios, en el que se estableció una relación inversamente proporcional entre la proporción C/I y la pérdida ósea periimplantaria. The objective of this work is to assess the possible association between the crown implant ratio (C/I) of the implant-supported restorations and the peril-implant crestalbone loss. After reviewing 1,064 implants placed in 416 patients including those in the different articles consulted- the different variables were analysed that may influence the peri-implantbone loss (crown-implant ratio and the relation between them). No association was found between these variables, except in one of the studies, in which an inversely proportional relation was established between the C/I proportion and the peri-implant boneloss.
