ABSTRACT

The purpose of the startup approach is to find an appropriate course of action that adds value to the economy's development. This study is aimed to determine the effect of the lean startup approach with mediating effect of business coaching to foster innovative work behavior in women entrepreneurs. Additionally, the study also examines the moderating effect of age on the lean startup approach and innovative work behavior. A quantitative approach was employed. The findings show that the relationship between the lean startup approach and innovative work behavior is significant. Moreover, the findings also revealed a significant mediating effect of business coaching and moderating effect of age. This research encourages practitioners and scholars to deal with women entrepreneurship incubation initiatives in the lean startup methodology. Furthermore, this study also leads to a deeper understanding of women's ideas for business exploration, growth, and implementation. The study contends that guidelines and directives are critical for creative entrepreneurial behavior.

ABSTRACT

The failure or success of an enterprise depends upon its working capital management practices (WCMP) along with effective corporate social responsibilities (CSR) and social entrepreneurship (SE). These factors ensure not only the soundness of financial indicators but also the profitability of an enterprise. Therefore, the objective of this study was to determine the impact of CSR, SE, and WCMP on the performance of small-medium enterprises (SMEs) of tourism sector, during the lockdown period in Malaysia. The goals also include the investigation of moderating role of employee behavior (EB) among the nexus of CSR, SE, WCMP, and performance of SMEs. The survey was performed to find out the practices adopted by the SMEs during corona days. A quantitative research method has been adopted to get data with convenient sampling technique, and PLS-SEM has been exploited to find out the significant nexus among CSR, SE, WCMP, and the performance of SMEs. The results indicate that CSR, SE, and WCMP have a positive association with the performance of SMEs in Malaysia. The results also indicate that EB positively moderates among the nexus of CSR, SE, WCMP, and the performance of SMEs in Malaysia. Stock review strategies by the SMEs during the corona days also exhibit significant differences except for no stock review. Significant differences between the enterprises show a lack of adaptation of the financial indicators that determine enterprise soundness. The study not only provides guidelines for entrepreneurs of SMEs but also helps in maintaining standards for the evaluation of the enterprises.

ABSTRACT

Volunteers in sports, full-time employees, trainers, coaches, and administrative support personnel all have varying degrees of commitment to their careers and organizations. Athletes are encouraged to participate actively in sports by coaches, parents, and trainers. This benefits players by promoting physical fitness and a healthy lifestyle to increase international and local collaboration. A sports organization comprises a championship, players, managing board, local cooperation, leagues, sports clubs, and men's and women's teams that oversee and conduct the organization's activities. Whether temporary or permanent, sports organizations are tasked with the responsibility of safeguarding the rights of their members. The research design was chosen to collect data using a combination of purposive sampling and snowball sampling. Purposive sampling enabled researchers to select respondents familiar with the requisite degree of knowledge. A questionnaire was used to obtain the data. Fifty respondents took part in this study. Out of 50 responders, 35 were male, and 15 were female. SEM PLS 3.3.7v was used to evaluate the collected data. The findings demonstrated a high positive correlation between the factors.(AU)

ABSTRACT

Development and expansion in any profession are critical in today's advanced world. Individuals associated with the sports industry view sports as a critical component of their lives. Men, in particular, are more interested in sports like football, basketball, cricket, and tennis. Additionally, organizational behaviour refers to an organization's attitude and actions when confronted with various difficulties. Players must be inspired, encouraged, and trained to perform at their best. The first factor contributing to the sports sector's growth is organizational behaviour. Artificial intelligence is the second factor that contributes to the progress of the sports business. Marketing is the third aspect that contributes to the advancement of the sports business. Marketing a product or service enhances both its worth and value. Three independent variables were considered in this paper: organizational behaviour, artificial intelligence, and marketing tactics. On the other hand, New Product Development has been included as a dependent variable. AMOS 26v was used to evaluate the data collected from 30 respondents. Additionally, the findings demonstrated a substantial correlation between the factors.(AU)

ABSTRACT

There has been substantial research on megaprojects in project management literature. However, there is dearth of studies empirically investigating performance of new launched megaproject of Thailand that named as "Phuket sandbox". The core purpose of this project is to normalize covid-19 situation and resuming tourism in Thailand. Therefore, the evaluation of project performance is essential to achieve the targeted goal for success. The purpose of this study is to investigate the factors that affect project performance (Phuket sandbox) in Thailand. This study used quantitative approach based on structured questionnaire and the data was collected from Phuket, Thailand. The survey conducted from team members which are tourism stake holders' team, immigration team and public service teams including hospitals and hotels who were supposed for the management of Phuket tourism sandbox operations. The study got 222 valid responses only as the members were so busy and partial lockdowns in Thailand hindered the data collection process. The proposed hypothetical model tested by partial least square structural equation modelling. The results of the study found mix findings. The independent variables are team knowledge management, interpersonal conflict, organizational trust, and as significant and dependent variable as project performance through the mediation of psychological capital. The all relationships found to be significant except problem solving competence which have insignificant relationship with project performance as well as problem solving competence and organizational trust have insignificant relation with psychological capital.

ABSTRACT

Objetivo: se analizó la validez y confiabilidad del cuestionario burnout para profesores universitarios, que es una versión modificada de la adaptación española del Inventario Burnout de Maslach (MBI). Materiales y métodos: es un estudio psicométrico, transversal, de tipo instrumental, cuya muestra está conformada por 206 docentes de la Universidad Nacional Santiago Antúnez de Mayolo (Ancash, Perú), 164 varones y 42 mujeres, de 20 a 70 años de edad, 165 nombrados y 41 contratados, quienes participaron voluntariamente en el estudio. Resultados: el cuestionario cuenta con validez de contenido, para lo cual se consultó a ocho expertos y se determinó la V de Aiken, que presenta un valor aceptable igual a 0,91. La validez de constructo fue estimada tanto a través del análisis factorial exploratorio, en la cual la medida de Kaiser Meyer Olkin es igual a 0,87; como del análisis factorial confirmatorio en la que las puntuaciones de medida de ajuste son adecuadas para el burnout por docencia (RMSEA=0,07, CFI=0,87, TLI=0,86, NFI=0,77) y para el burnout por investigación (RMSEA=0,06, CFI=0,91, TLI=0,90, NFI=0,80). La validez discriminante se determinó mediante el índice de discriminación de los ítems, y todos obtuvieron puntuaciones superiores al mínimo aceptable (r=0,20). Asimismo, los resultados revelaron consistencia interna a través del coeficiente del alfa de Cronbach (a=0,92) y del omega (Ω=0,92). Conclusión: se confirmó que las propiedades psicométricas del cuestionario burnout para profesores universitarios son adecuadas, pues evidencia tener validez y confiabilidad para evaluar el burnout..(Au)


Objective: to analyze the validity and reliability of the burnout Questionnaire for university professors, which is a modified version of the Spanish adaptation of the Maslach Burnout Inventory (MBI). Materials and methods: this are a psychometric, cross-sectional, instrumental study, whose sample is made up of 206 professors from the Santiago Antunez de Mayolo National University (Ancash, Peru), 164 men and 42 women, aged 20 to 70 years. age, 165 appointed and 41 hired, who voluntarily participated in the development of the study. Results: it is found that the questionnaire has content validity, for which eight experts were consulted and Aiken's V was determined, which presents an acceptable value equal to 0,91. The construct validity estimated both through exploratory factor analysis, in which the Kaiser Meyer Olkin measure is equal to 0,87; as from the confirmatory factor analysis in which the adjustment measure scores are adequate for teaching burnout (RMSEA = 0,07, CFI = 0,87, TLI = 0,86, NFI = 0,77), and for research burnout (RMSEA = 0,06, CFI = 0,91, TLI = 0,90, NFI = 0,80). The discriminant validity determined by the discrimination index of the items, and all obtained scores higher than the minimum acceptable (r = 0,20). Likewise, the results reveal internal consistency through Cronbach's alpha coefficient (a = 0,92) and Omega (Ω = 0,92). Conclusion: It is confirmed that the psychometric properties of the burnout Questionnaire for university professors are adequate, since it shows validity and reliability to evaluate burnout..(Au)

Resumen Introducción: el finalizar los estudios de una carrera profesional no certifica que el graduado obtenga un trabajo, a lo que se agrega que la contracción económica ha impactado de modo significativo en el nivel de ingreso de los recientes egresados de diferentes universidades. A pesar de ello, en Perú, no se dispone de suficientes investigaciones que lo expliquen. Objetivo: identificar la relación que existe entre el rendimiento académico y la remuneración de los egresados de Administración de Universidades públicas del Perú. Materiales y métodos: fue un estudio retrospectivo, descriptivo y correlacional con diseño no experimental de corte transeccional. Los datos para el análisis estadístico corresponden a una muestra de egresados desde el 2011 al 2016. De una población de 248 se utilizó la muestra de 129 egresados. El rendimiento académico se midió mediante el promedio de calificaciones, registradas en las actas finales del Siga-web UNASAM. La hipótesis se corroboró estadísticamente utilizando el programa SPSS versión 25 mediante la correlación de Pearson. La remuneración mediante la técnica del análisis documentario con la ficha de registro de datos, a partir de las boletas de pagos de los egresados del mes de septiembre 2017. Resultados: muestran que, entre el rendimiento académico y la remuneración de los egresados de la carrera profesional de Administración existe una relación positiva. Conclusión: existe una relación directa entre el rendimiento académico y la remuneración de los egresados de Administración con un nivel de confianza de 95%.


Abstract Introduction: completing the studies of a professional career does not certify that the graduate obtains a job, to which it is added that the economic contraction has had a significant impact on the income level of recent graduates from different universities. Despite this, in Peru, there is not enough research to explain it. Objective: to study was to identify the relationship that exists between academic performance and remuneration of graduates of Administration from public universities in Peru. Materials and methods: it was a retrospective, descriptive and correlational study with a non-experimental, cross-sectional design. The data for the statistical analysis correspond to a sample of graduates from 2011 to 2016. From a population of248, the sample of129 graduates was used. Academic performance was measured through the average of grades, recorded in the final minutes of the Siga-web UNASAM. The hypothesis was statistically corroborated using the SPSS version 25 program using Pearson's correlation. The remuneration through the documentary analysis technique with the data record sheet, based on the pay slips of the graduates ofSeptember 2017. Results: to show that, between the academic performance and the remuneration of the graduates of the career Management professional there is a positive relationship. Conclusions: there is a direct relationship between academic performance and the remuneration of Administration graduates with a confidence level of 95%.


Resumo Introdução: a conclusão dos estudos de uma carreira profissional não certifica que o graduado consega um emprego, ao que se acrescenta que a contração económica teve um impacto significativo no nível de rendimento dos recém-licenciados em diferentes universidades. Apesar disso, no Peru, não há pesquisas suficientes para explicá-lo. Objetivo: identificar a relação que existe entre o desempenho acadêmico e a remuneração dos graduados em Administração de universidades públicas no Peru. Materiais e métodos: trata-se de um estudo retrospectivo, descritivo e correlacional, com desenho transversal não experimental. Os dados para a análise estatística correspondem a uma amostra de concluintes de 2011 a 2016. De uma população de 248, foi utilizada a amostra de 129 licenciados. O desempenho acadêmico foi medido por meio da média das notas, registrada nos minutos finais do Siga-web UNASAM. A hipótese foi estatisticamente corroborada pelo programa SPSS versão 25 por meio da correlação de Pearson. A remuneração através da técnica de análise documental com folha de registro de dados, com base nas folhas de vencimento dos egressos de setembro de 2017. Resultados mostram que, entre o desempenho acadêmico e a remuneração dos egressos da carreira Profissional de gestão existe uma relação positiva. Conclusão que existe uma relação direta entre o desempenho acadêmico e a remuneração dos graduados em Administração com um nível de confiança de 95%.
