Debido a la reciente presencia de la Infantería de Marina Española en diversos Teatros de Operaciones, la Sanidad Militar se ha desplegado apoyando a este Cuerpo con personal, material y vehículos. Este artículo pretende mostrar las lecciones sanitarias aprendidas tras el empleo del PINANHA IIIC 8x8 ambulancia, Camión Ambulancia IVECO 40.10.wm (versión «portacamillas» y «UCI móvil») y Hummer Portacamillas M-1035 en FIMAR (Bosnia-Herzegovina), Operación Sierra Juliet (Irak), FIMEX- H (Haití) y FIMEX-L (Líbano)(AU)

Due to the recently presence of the spanish Infantería de Marina in several Operations’ Theatres, the Sanidad Militar was deployed supporting this force with personnel, materials and vehicles. La sanidad en la Fragata «Victoria» durante la operación «Libertad Duradera» / The health service in the Victoria Frigate during the endurance Freedom Operative

La Fragata F-82 «Victoria» zarpó en Octubre del 2003 de la Base Naval de Rota para incorporarse durante cuatro meses a la Operación Libertad Duradera en el Océano Índico. Con este artículo se pretende describir los procedimientos llevados a cabo durante el alistamiento, la navegación y regreso a territorio nacional exponiendo las lecciones aprendidas en cada etapa, concluyendo conque un adecuado alistamiento, formación, profilaxis, y terapéutica son fundamentales para afrontar este tipo de misiones

Frigate F-82 «Victoria» departed on October 2003 from Rota Naval Base to join Enduring Freedom Operation for four months in Indian' s Ocean. This article describes the proceedings during enlistment, sea navigation and return to Spain. Lessons learnt in each period are written. The results ,are that an appropiate enlistment, training, prpphylaxis and therapeutics are essential in this kind of mission
