ABSTRACT
Con este modesto recuento histórico prospectivo, queremos reconocer la labor desarrollada por un grupode profesores que comenzaron siendo muy jóvenes desde la fundación de la docencia médica superior en laFacultad de Ciencias Médicas Dr. Raúl Dorticós Torrado de Cienfuegos en el Servicio de Ortopedia y Traumatología del Hospital Universitario Dr. GustavoAldereguía Lima, de esta provincia. La primera expresión de formación de Pre y Post Grado comenzó el 1ro deseptiembre de 1982, con la llegada del primer grupo de 5to año de Medicina proveniente del la Escuela deMedicina de Santa Clara, el comienzo de la residencia por el Dr. Eduardo Sarmiento Sánchez, previa acreditación docente del Servicio por una ComisiónNacional encabezada por el Profesor René Lorie Pérez(AU)
With this small historical review we want to acknowledge the work of a group of professors who began teaching at a very young age, since the founding of Higher Medical Teaching in the Medical School Raúl Dorticós Torrado inCienfuegos, and in the Orthopaedics and Traumatology Service in the University Hospital Dr. Gustavo Aldereguía Lima. The first group of pre and post graduated courses began in September, 1st 1982, with the arrival of the firstgroup of fifth year of Medicine from Santa Clara Medical School and the beginning of the residency by Dr.Eduardo Sarmiento Sánchez after an educational accreditation of the Service by a National Commission headed by Professor René Lorie Pérez(AU)
