ABSTRACT
Objetivo: Determinar los conocimientos y las actitudes sobre el parto vertical en internos de Obstetricia de la Universidad Nacional Mayor de San Marcos - Año 2015. Metodología: estudio con enfoque mixto (cuali-cuantitativo), para la fase cualitativa se realizó un estudio descriptivo y para la fase cuantitativa un estudio observacional con diseño descriptivo, de corte transversal. La población estuvo conformada por los internos de obstetricia, para la fase cuantitativa estuvo conformado por 74 internos y para la fase cualitativa 6 internos de diferentes sedes. En el análisis de fase cualitativa se grabó las entrevistas, utilizándose un programa de análisis cualitativo Atlas-ti y en el análisis de la fase cuantitativa se utilizó el programa SPSS v.22 realizando un análisis descriptivo (promedio y frecuencias). Resultados: El nivel de conocimiento sobre parto vertical: fue medio en el 37.8 por ciento, bajo en el 31.1 por ciento y alto en el 31.1 por ciento. Según la dimensión sobre definiciones y posiciones del parto vertical, el 85.1 por ciento de los internos tiene un nivel de conocimientos "Medio" y el 9.5 por ciento un nivel "Alto". Respecto a la dimensión sobre Ventajas y Desventajas del parto vertical, el 43.2 por ciento de los internos tiene un nivel de conocimientos "Alto" y el 28.4 por ciento un nivel "Medio". Acerca de la dimensión sobre indicaciones y contraindicaciones del parto vertical, el 44.6 por ciento de los internos tiene conocimiento "Medio" y el 36.5 por ciento un nivel "Bajo". El 65.7 por ciento de los internos tienen actitudes favorables hacia el parto vertical y el 34.3 por ciento actitudes desfavorables. Objective: To determine the knowledge and attitudes about internal vertical delivery in Obstetrics from the National University of San Marcos - Year 2015. Methodology: studio with mixed approach (qualitative and quantitative) for the qualitative phase, a descriptive study and the quantitative phase with descriptive observational study design, cross section. The population consisted of inmates in obstetrics, for quantitative phase consisted of 74 internal and for qualitative phase 6 internal different venues. As to the vertical delivery 86.5 per cent have an "unfavorable attitude since, most of them did not feel qualified or trained to perform this mode of delivery, as to the opinion on the cultural aspects of attention vertical delivery, 73 per cent of inmates show a "Pro" attitude, because the internal view that: vertical delivery must be made not only in rural areas, but should be practiced and promoted nationally.
