ABSTRACT
The results presented here are of an experiment performed by the team of an open ward composed of psychiatrists and an occupational therapist to provoke verbal communication by means of group drawing. The experiment was carried out with a group of patients who are suffering from difficulties in making contact with others. Drawing being a means of primary archaic communication enables the patient to express himself within the framework of the group by participating in discussions, and thus contribute to the process of socialization among the patients.
