[Short version of the pain questionnaire: influence of age on the choice of terms]. / Forma breve del questionario del dolore: influenza dell'età nella scelta dei termini.

We proposed the QUID to 1148 persons divided into 5 groups and we looked for diversity in the choice of terms in relation to age and sex. The purpose was to elaborate one or more short versions of QUID to meet in a specified way, the requirements of simplicity, flexibility and specificity that came out from pain practice.

[A comparative study in children of 3 anesthetic techniques using plethysmography, pulse oximetry and the level of postoperative pain]. / Etude comparée chez l'enfant de trois techniques anesthésiques grâce à la pléthysmographie, la pulsoxymétrie et le niveau de la douleur postopératoire.

This study compares three techniques of anesthesia on the ground of the course of plethysmography, pulse oximetry and evaluation of postoperative pain in 75 pediatric patients divided into 3 groups. Results show that combined anesthesia, intravenous and regional anesthesia, has a less desaturation incidence, a better development of plethysmography and a positive reply to postoperative pain.
