ABSTRACT
Objetivo: Identificar la relación entre la actitud de la pareja respecto a la elección de métodos anticonceptivos en las pacientes puérperas de parto eutócico del Hospital de San Juan de Lurigancho periodo noviembre - diciembre del 2015. Materiales y métodos: Estudio Analítico observacional de corte transversal. Se utilizó dos instrumentos uno dirigido a la puérpera y otra para su pareja a una muestra de 174 cónyuges (puérperas y pareja) durante el horario de visita al servicio de hospitalización del Hospital de San Juan de Lurigancho durante los meses de noviembre-diciembre del 2015, la encuesta fue aplicada únicamente a las puérperas y parejas que cumplan con los criterios de inclusión y exclusión. Se buscó la relación entre la actitud de la pareja respecto a los métodos anticonceptivos y la elección de método anticonceptivo por puérperas de parto eutócico. Se realizó un análisis exploratorio de las variables de interés utilizando medidas de tendencia central y dispersión (media y desviación estándar o mediana y rango intercuartilar) para las variables cuantitativas; frecuencias y porcentajes para las variables cualitativas, luego un análisis bivariado mediante tablas de doble entrada, finalmente se procedió al análisis multivariado mediante un modelo de regresión logística. Con un intervalo de confianza de 95 por ciento (p < 0,05). Resultados: El conocimiento sobre planificación familiar de puérperas participantes es de nivel "Medio" 78,16 por ciento. Estas se encuentran en un grupo etario joven (de 20 a 24 años) representado por un 44,25 por ciento de la población encuestada. Con un grado de instrucción predominantemente secundaria (71,26 por ciento). La mayoría de las puérperas eligió un método anticonceptivo antes del alta médica (78,74 por ciento). Summary: Identify the relationship between the couple's attitude regarding the choice of contraceptive methods in postpartum vaginal delivery patients of the Hospital San Juan de Lurigancho period November-December 2015.
