ABSTRACT
A compreensão do papel dos educadores no ensino e aprendizagem em saúde bucal são fundamentais pra o entendimento de sua atuação em sala de aula. O estudo teve como objetivo analisar como as práticas educativas em saúde bucal são desenvolvidas por professores de uma escola da rede pública, em interface com a Estratégia de Saúde da Família. Trata-se de um estudo exploratório, descritivo, do tipo transversal, com campo de estudo em uma escola de ensino fundamental no município de Sapucaia do Sul. A população pesquisada foi constituída por professores do 1° ao 6° ano. A coleta de dados procedeu-se por meio de um questionário com perguntas abertas e fechadas, na etapa de análise, aplicou-se o método de estatística descritiva, utilizando-se o programa Microsoft Excel. Para a apreciação das questões qualitativas foi empregada a análise de conteúdo por categorias. Participaram do estudo 9 professores que se encaixaram nos critérios de inclusão. Dentre os docentes entrevistados, a totalidade descreveu abordar temas de saúde em suas aulas, sendo que78% relataram desenvolver assuntos relacionados à saúde bucal. Conclui-se que a identificação do nível de conhecimento e a análise das práticas de educação em saúde são fundamentais para entender se as informações que os estudantes recebem são qualificadas. A vinculação entre equipes de Estratégia de Saúde da Família e escolas mostra-se como um método eficaz para a promoção e a educação em saúde entre estudantes, uma vez que possibilita a construção de práticas de ensino transdisciplinares e permeadas pela troca de saberes entre profissionais de diferentes áreas.(AU)
The comprehension of the role of educators in teaching and learning process in oral health is fundamental for understanding of their performance in the classroom. The study aim to analyze how educational practices are developed by teachers of a public school, in interface with Family Health Strategy.Th emsaúde is was an exploratory, descriptive, cross-sectional study conducted in a fundamental teaching school in the city of Sapucaia do Sul.The research population was consisted of teachers from 1st to 6th grade. The data collection proceeded through the questionnaire with open and closed questions, and for the analysis stage, the descriptive statistic method was applied, using the Microsoft Excel program. For the evaluation of qualitative questions, the content analysis by categories was used. Nine teachers who met the inclusion criteria participated in the study. Among the interviewedteachers, the totalitydescribed addressing health issues in their classes, with 78% reporting developing topics related to oral health. In conclusion, the identification of the level of knowledge and the analysis of health education practices are essential for understanding whether the information that students receive is qualified. The link between Family Health Strategy teams and schools is an effective method for the promotion and health education among students, since it allows the development of transdisciplinary teaching practices and permeated by the exchange of the knowledge among professionals from different areas.(AU)
