ABSTRACT

PIP: The uterine cervix in women aged 19-22 who have had an interruption of a 1st pregnancy was examined 4-6 months after the operation. It was found that the women had a wider cervical canal without the usual gathering of tissue at the mouth. Also, the cervical canal had a cylindrical shape which could not, however, be considered typical after an interruption since the same condition is sometimes found in women who have never been pregnant. However, the repair and regeneration process after uncomplicated interruptions proceeds in such a way that after several months no sign of an interruption remains.^ieng
