ABSTRACT
We study the composite charged spin texture (CST) over the Moore-Read quantum Hall state that arises when a collection of elementary CSTs is moved to the same location. Following an algebraic approach based on the characteristic pair correlations of the Moore-Read state, we find that the spin texture associated with a composite CST is set by the fusion sector of the underlying non-Abelian quasiparticles. This phenomenon provides a novel way to read out the quantum register of a non-Abelian topologically ordered phase.

We consider an interface between two non-Abelian quantum Hall states: the Moore-Read state, supporting Ising anyons, and the k=2 non-Abelian spin-singlet state, supporting Fibonacci anyons. It is shown that the interface supports neutral excitations described by a (1+1)-dimensional conformal field theory with a central charge c=7/10. We discuss effects of the mismatch of the quantum statistical properties of the quasiholes between the two sides, as reflected by the interface theory.
ABSTRACT
We propose and analyze two series of clustered quantum Hall states for rotating systems of spin-1 bosons. The first series [labeled SU(4)(k)] includes the exact ground states of a model Hamiltonian at large angular momentum L, and also for N=3k particles at L=N. The latter is a spin-singlet boson-triplet condensate. The second series, labeled SO(5)(k), includes exact ground states at large L for different parameter values.
