ABSTRACT
A case report is given of a 65 year old patient suffering from chronic tuberculosis of the lungs, nephrosis and secondary amyloidosis, who had infarction of a jejunal segment. Narrowing of the small arteries in the jejunal submucosa and in the adjacent mesenterial structures was demonstrated post mortem and was thought to be the cause of the lethal event along with hypovolemia due to nephrosis.
