Now-day "medical control" means the activity of executive officers of the medical service of the Armed Forces of RF to avoid, locate and suppress the violations of exactions of legislative acts, directive documents and sanitarium legislation of RF in the sphere of assurance of sanitarium-epidemiologic prosperity of the staff. In conditions of changing of image of the Armed Forces, proved by there's transition to brining up to strength by under-contract service men, complication of technics, realizing of some socially purposed programs, the authors mark an increase of requirements to qualification of health professional, there's knowledge and capability of realizing of measures of medical control on the modern level. The authors present several principal requirements in the sphere of medical control, first of all, professionalism, regularity, timeliness, conclusiveness, effectiveness, consistency, fidelity to principles.

[Perspectives of medical and sanatorium-resort services for the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation].

The main principle of effectuated organizationally-staff actions in medical service have for purpose saving of treatment-prophylaxis institutes in areas of dislocation of military units of permanent readiness. To the end of 2009 y. will be effectuated the transition on 3-level system of medical support of troops with typical structure of forces and measures: 1st--camp, 2nd--department, 3rd--institutes of central attachment. It's planned to have 53 military hospitals with filiations (109 hospitals will be modified in filiations) to the 1st of December 2010. Every year more then 20 000 servicemen of Ministry of Defense of RF will need in psycho-medical rehabilitation and prophylactic rest. Solving of purposes, posed in Strategy of social development of the Armed Forces of RF to 2020 year, will allow to improve the health of fasten military units, degrade the level of mortality and morbidity by failure of system of blood circulation in 2,2 times, morbidity by socially significant diseases--in 1,6 times. Realization subprograms, having prophylactic direction, will lead to degrading of charges to effectuating of high-technological aids in 1,8 times.

[The first experience of using 64-cut computer-tomography coronary angiography for clinical examination of officer staff].

The article presents the estimations of capabilities of visualization of coronary arteria using 64-cut multispin computer tomography (MSCTCA) for the purpose of it's using for early detection of coronary atersclerosis. There were examined 50 patients (42 men and 8 women) in the age of 29-78 years old. There was realized an analyze of frequency of occurrence of coronary artersclerosis in dependence of age. By 8 patients data of MSCTCA and KAG were compared. A high frequency of coincidence of results of the researches (88%) was determined. Also were determined evidences for realizing both of these methods. Causes of potential faults of data interpretation were discovered. MSCTCA--a high-effective method of diagnostics of coronary artersclerosis and detection of character and value of stenotic damage of coronary arteria. Received data permit determine practicability of further realization of interventional radiology.

[Perspectives of improvement of the medical service of the Armed Forces of Russian Federation].

The article presents the data concerned the creation of perspective image of the medical service of the Armed Forces of Russian Federation for the term up to 2016 year. Particularly, it's planed to optimize structure and staff of the medical service on the base of territorial principle of medical provision, exchange some military posts for civil ones, improve the financial system and system of material stimulation of work, engrain a double level of administration. It is in store to modernize the system of military-medical education, review the organization and establishment of military hospitals, break up medical stores, and on theirs account create centers of providing by medcial techniques and properties, to form mobile-technical centers, improve the administration of sanatorium-resort maintenance. The military unit of military medicine was defined as the foreground direction of reforming of medical service.

[Main directions of realization of strategy of social development of the Armed Forces of Russian Federation up to the 2020th year].

Latter years the president and the government more and more pay attention to the questions of social evolution of the Army and Navy, augmentation of the level of social protection of military staff, discharged and members of their families. But a great number of problems of military-social sphere are not yet resolved. Presented Strategy is a complex document of long termed character. The strategy defines concrete purposive results in the sphere of social evolution of the Armed Forces for the period up to 2020th year; check list of the main measures and the mechanism of the control of their's realization. In the frames of Strategy there was elaborated a such program, as "Improvement of medical supply of the Armed Forces for the period 2008-2020", which includes 15 subprograms: "AIDS-infection in the Armed Forces", "Tuberculosis in the Armed Forces", "Prevention and treatment of cardiovascular diseases in the Armed Forces", "Improvement of material-and-technical base of military-medical units", "Health survey and propaganda of orthobiosis", "Prophylaxis of dental diseases", and others. Now-days there was created a working group, it's continues the elaboration of the plan of realization of measures of Strategy.

[Organizational principles in prophylaxis of stroke].

Modern system of insult prophylaxis intends development of 2 directions: population strategy and individual tactics. The effectiveness of population strategy depends on quality of health survey and of sanitarian-educational work. The effectiveness of individual tactics depends on intensity of clinical, laboratorial and instrumental checkup and elaborating an adequate correction of representative syndromes. Model of an individual prophylaxis of insult exists in the 2nd Central Military Clinical Hospital of P.V. Mandryka more then 15 years. According to the result of yearly health survey, therapist, in cooperation with cardiologist and neurologist, elaborates a "plan of health", which intends decrease of negative factor's influence and using medicinal substances, correcting the representative syndromes. High-technological algorithms of checkup include ultrasonics surveys of brachycephaly vessel and of the heart, an entire-day electrocardiogram monitoring or loading test, large bio-chemistry tests, directed to finding hyper-coagulation and dislipidemia. The experience of work demonstrates large capabilities in increasing of effectiveness of prophylaxis programs. These capabilities permit decrease sickness rate of insult--to the 30% during latter years.

[Forensic expertise in the Defense Ministry of Russian Federation: modern status and perspectives of development].

The article presents a summary of history of creating and elaborating of military forensic medicine, it's now-day condition and perspectives of future evolution. Authors mark necessity of material and technical reequipment of SFE of DF of RF, of improvement of system of preparing of the staff, of uniting of SFE and of agencies of military justice.

[Medical support of Russian Armed Forces: the results and perspectives].

The results of work of the Russian Federation Armed Forces medical service obtained in 2007 were summarized and the main problems of its activities in the current year and the very near future were determined. So the work at defining medical support as a type of Army and Navy support was began. The most important task of medical service in 2008 is realization of the Armed Forces medical support conception and goal-oriented program "The improvement of Russian Federation Armed Forces medical support in 2008-2012", the formation of two-level system of personnel's medical support. During the task realization the medical units and institutions are reorganized into federal state institutions. The RF DM Main Military Medical Headquarters works at significant improvement of war and military service veterans' medical attendance. The departmental program "Development of material and technical basis of military medical institutions for 2001-2010" is successfully realized. The measures to optimize the assignment of graduates from military medical higher schools are carried out. The tasks to improve the research work were outlined. The new principles of organization of military medical service control and work will be based on centralization of planning and decentralization of decision implementation, the possibility of military medical units to carry it out taking into account the common intention, safe feedback in order to make the work of army and navy medical specialists more effective in any conditions.

[About the elaboration of the unique informational space of the medical service of the Armed Forces and improvement of informational assurance of system of it's control].

The now-day period of development of the medical service of the Armed Forces of the RF and it's system of control is characterized by a growing up need by functionaries of control departments in an actual, authentic, well-timed and all-round information. This information is necessary for qualitative solving of concrete missions. Growing of volume and importance of information stipulates research of new methods and ways of rise of control effectiveness. One of the ways of resolving this problem is elaboration of the unique informational space of the medical service of the Armed Forces of RF. Realization of perspectives of improvement of information acquisition and processing for the control of the medical service permits create the unique informational space of the medical service of the Armed Forces of RF, realize a centralized control, solving missions of building and reforming of system of control and medical supply of Forces.

[Vaccinal prophylaxis of hepatitis A in servicemen of the Far East military district]. / Vaktsinoprofilaktika virusnogo gepatita A u voennosluzhashchikh Dal'nevostochnogo regiona.

The importance of hepatitis A (HA) for epidemiological situations among the servicemen of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation, including the Far Eastern Military District, and the necessity of vaccinal prophylaxis have been substantiated. Vaccination against HA, made in a single injection, was shown to be capable of decreasing morbidity, on the average, 1.98 times. The epidemiological effectiveness of vaccine "Avaxim" proved to be 89.6%. The results obtained in this investigation are indicative of the expediency of vaccination not only for prophylactic purposes, but also for localization and liquidation of epidemic foci of HA.
