ABSTRACT

A total of 75 males from married couples with circulatory prostatitis aged 19-47 were examined and treated in Barnaulsky sanatorium. The patients were trained by walking with the load power 80-110 W for 2.5 to 3 hours. They also received phytocorrection with biologically active food additive Fitopan M. The treatment led to attenuation of pelvic symptoms, stabilization of morning erection, normalization of friction period and laboratory indices. The effect persisted for 3 years.

ABSTRACT

Our study has shown that the same set of physical factors in combination with local drug therapy when used endourethrally has a higher effect in therapy of chronic bacterial urethroprostatitis (CBUP). Mean subjective indices (pain, dysuria, questionnaire data) in the urethral technique are 1.33 times higher than those in the rectal technique. The objective indices (leukocytes, licetine granulations) - 1.4, uroflowmetry parameters - 1.51, hemodynamic parameters - 1.4 times higher. The complex AMUS-01-Intramag has some advantages over the other complexes, the main advantage being the ability to provide local drug therapy and accumulation of the drug in the affected focus.

ABSTRACT

Transcardiac galvanization effect was assessed in 76 patients with primary noncomplicated macrofocal anterior myocardial infarction admitted to hospital within initial 6 hours of the disease. As shown by the evidence obtained at bicycle ergometry, tetrapolar rheography and clinical examination, transcardiac galvanization within 3 days of the infarction enhances hospital physical rehabilitation course, increases exercise tolerance by the disease month 6, promotes an increase in myocardial maximal oxygen consumption, increases coronary reserve and improves cardiac contractility.

ABSTRACT

The incidence rates of combinations of A and B loci histocompatibility antigens in loci and haplotypes and of ceruloplasmin phenotypes have been examined in 137 patients with lupus erythematosus (LE) and scleroderma circumscriptum (SC). The studies have revealed that LE and SC are associated with certain haplotypes and HLA antigens combinations, this indicating the contribution of these phenotypes to the realization of the genetic predisposition to these diseases. In A1B8 haplotype carriers the disease is characterized by a benign course and manifests by integument forms of LE and scleroderma. IN A2B8 haplotype carriers the disease is more grave and presents as the systemic variant of LE. The third type of ceruloplasmin not detectable in normal subjects is usually associated with A9B18, A25B18, A3B27 haplotypes and with HLA A3A9 antigenic combination mostly in LE patients.
