In this article is described a investigation, a Master in Education, in which it was analyzed the development of scientific concepts of students engaged in a teaching intervetion about the "Evolution of the species". The activity had as main characteristics its structure, formulated in a way that aimed on stimulating students reasoning and interfering in one's conception and was also supported by a teaching instrument.
