ABSTRACT

Experimental investigation were conducted with the objective to determine a stem cells, capacity to differentiate in adipogenic direction, if they were obtained from adipose tissue. The investigation results have witnessed, that the cells, obtained from adipose tissue, are capable for a tissue-speciphic differentiation in osteogenic, chondrogenic, and, principally--in adipogenic direction, what confirms a multypotent nature of mesenchymal stem cells of adipose tissue. Adipose tissue constitutes an alternative to the bone marrow, as a source of multipotent mesenchymal stem cells, which may be applied in further investigations, concerning determination of their defense possibility for the transplanted autologous adipose tissue from the tissue resorption, made in a lipophiling way.

ABSTRACT

The expediency of the stromal cells application, obtained from adipose tissue, was determined in a frame of preclinical investigations conduction, concerning experimental works on laboratory rats, in whom the extremity ischemia was simulated. Histologic and immunohistochemical changes were studied in muscular tissue after transplantation of multipotent stromal cells of own adipose tissue in patients, suffering ischemia of the lower extremity. Reduction of severity of the myofibrills ischemic damage, rapid activation of the muscles regenerative power, accurate stimulation of the angiogenesis processes in 3 mo after transplantation of the cells were demonstrated.

ABSTRACT

During examination of kidney function under cisplastin chemotherapy in oncologic patients the nephrotoxicity of the drug have been shown during 24 hours after administration. We found that in 24 hours after injection ofcisplastin in the dose 50 mg/m2 of the surface of the body, the excretion of creatinine, sodium, potassium, osmotic active compounds and chlorides is increased more than two times, indicating for disorder in osmolality, volume and ionic regulation of kidney function. The determined peculiarities are consequences of kidney injuries, which are confirmed by an increase in erythrocyte- and leucocyteuria. We showed that alterations in homeostatic kidney function is due to damage of renal tubules. Our study necessitates a need for renal protection during the whole period of cisplastin chemotherapy.
