[Absorption of essential amino acids in patients with chronic enteritis]. / Vsasyvanie nezamenimykh aminokislot u bol'nykh khronicheskim énteritom

Continuous perfusion was applied in studying the absorption of essential amino acids in the duodenum and the proximal part of the jejunum in healthy persons and in patients with chronic enteritis of the land ii degrees of severity. All the patients demonstrated a reduced rate of absorption. The degree of the absorption derangement increased parallel with the severity of the affection. In the duodenum the absorption proceeded slower than in the upper portion of the jejunum.
