ABSTRACT

In 104 patients after replantation of upper extremity segments the hand function was estimated with due regard for the volume of active movements of the segment, value of deficiency of finger flexion, possibility of different kinds of grip, hand force, restoration of blood supply and innervation. A prognostic assessment of the above factors is given. Possibilities to restore working capacity is considered with special reference to the degree of disturbance of the hand function.

ABSTRACT

The Soviet thermovision device "Rubin-2" supplied with a special set for quantum processing of the thermovision picture was used for examination of 60 patients with obliterating atherosclerosis, 30 of them were subjected to restorative operations on the lower extremity vessels, 30--to uni- or bilateral lumbar sympathectomy. Results of thermovision examinations were compared with findings of the clinical examination, angiography, length-wise rheography. High degree correlation between normalized peripheral blood circulation and data of thermography is noted. The method of thermovision allows to objectively estimate results of the surgical treatment of obliterating atherosclerosis of the lower extremity vessels and may be successfully used in practical medico-occupational examinations.

ABSTRACT

Remote results of the treatment of 51 patients of creative age are followed. Of 47 patients alive till the end of the observation period, blood circulation was compensated in 41 patients. Complete rehabilitation was obtained in 51,1% of the patients and partial rehabilitation--in 14,9%. The criteria of estimation of the working capacity of the patients are presented.
