ABSTRACT

OBJECTIVE: The aim: Is scientific substantiation of introduction of innovative technologies in the process of training future specialists in physical therapy and ergo therapy (occupational therapy). PATIENTS AND METHODS: Materials and methods: We used following set of theoretical research methods: analysis and synthesis of scientific and scientific-methodical literature, which made it possible to identify existing contradictions, to formulate the specifics of the introduction of innovative technologies in the process of training of future specialists in physical therapy and occupational therapy and to find possible ways of its improvement. We also used generalization and systematization of research data, which allowed to form the theoretical and methodological basis of the study. We performed a synthesis of scientific theories, approaches and concepts to identify favorable conditions for the formation of future specialists in physical therapy and occupational therapy. Among empirical methods we used observations and surveys. CONCLUSION: Conclusions: Our research shows that the use of such interconnected innovative pedagogical technologies as: technologies of personal and professional development, technology of full acquisition of knowledge, information and communication technologies, exploratory research technologies and technologies of contextual education contributes to the effective implementation of the educational process of training specialists in physical therapy and occupational therapy in a medical school.

ABSTRACT

OBJECTIVE: The aim: Of article reveals the essence of the matter of scientific substantiation of theoretical concepts of pedagogical characteristic of natural-science competence of physical therapy specialist to be and stages of its formation. PATIENTS AND METHODS: Materials and methods: To achieve an object of the research a complex of research methods was used, in particular, theoretical ones: analysis and synthesis of scientific andmethodic literature, methodic and normative documents ; synthesis and systematization of research data; synthesis of scientific theories, approaches and conceptions to define the conditions of education of physical therapy specialist to be; empirical methods: observation and questioning. CONCLUSION: Conclusions: In process of the research were defined: step-by-step specific features of natural-science education process, functions , typical activity tasks and types of skills of physical therapy specialist to be which made it possible to define the criteria of the formation of natural-science competence and formulate their competence characteristics. The developed criteria and indicators made it possible to substantiate the development of phased substance of natural-science education of physical therapy specialist to be at higher educational institution.

ABSTRACT

OBJECTIVE: Іntroduction: The problem of the formation, preservation and strengthening of students' health during higher educational period is becoming increasingly relevant. Following factors have a purposeful impact on health and physical development of students: correct organization of physical education process, motivation to study, student's personality and adaptation process to new educational conditions. The aim: A comparative analysis of assessment of the initial state of student's health by means of physical development indicators. PATIENTS AND METHODS: Materials and methods: For investigation and evaluation of physical development, the generalizing method of observation was used for a group of 600 students aging 18, 19 and 20 years (100 persons in each age group). All students were divided into control and experimental groups by the method of equal distribution of groups. The students from control groups took classes according to traditional educational system, which provided development of only those physical qualities that are necessary for successful assimilation of motor activity techniques. Students from experimental group took classes according to fitness technologies program. RESULTS: Results: The data obtained has shown that men and women from experimental groups during the formative have reliable differences only in body weight and in the index of Erisman. The dynamics of anthropometric indices of students from experimental and control groups depended from the content of educational and extra-curricular physical education classes. Implementation of fitness technologies in physical education process of students from experimental groups contributed to the improvement of functional indicators of both men and women. Following indicators changed: heart rate for 1 min, systolic blood pressure, diastolic blood pressure, Robinson index, lung life volume, muscle strength of dominant hand. The evaluation of anthropometric and functional indicators also helped to determine indices dynamics of students' physical development during: force index, vital index, mass-growth index, Stange test, Genci test, Harvard step-test index. CONCLUSION: Сonclusions: The analysis of physical development of students testifies about imperfection of physical education system, low level of physical preparedness of students and unsatisfactory state of physical culture and health work in higher education institutions.

ABSTRACT

OBJECTIVE: Introduction: In today's conditions, the aggravation of health and demographic problems in Ukraine arose the urgent need for physical rehabilitation and restoration of the health of our citizens by means of a non-medical nature. Under such conditions, specialists in physical therapy and ergotherapy become subjects of medical, social and psychological assistance, associates of the improvement of physical qualities, psycho-emotional stability and adaptation reserves. The aim of the study is to develop and substantiate the medical aspects of training a specialist in physical therapy and ergotherapy in the system of higher education in Ukraine. PATIENTS AND METHODS: Materials and methods: To achieve the goal, a set of research methods, in particular theoretical ones, is used: historical-comparative and logical, terminological, quantitativequalitative (bibliometry), generalization, abstraction, analysis and synthesis, modeling, studying documents; empirical: observation, survey, analysis of products of activity, complex pre-nasol diagnostics. CONCLUSION: Conclusions: The theoretical synthesis of domestic and foreign experience is carried out and the author's approach to solving an important and actual scientific problem of forming the medical competence of future specialists in physiotherapy and ergotherapy is proposed. An analysis of the international experience of training physical rehabilitation specialists has made it possible to identify the most promising American and European models that have a number of significant differences in the principles of organization and financing of pedagogical processes, professional etiquette and self-discipline of specialists.
