ABSTRACT

RESUMEN Se realizó una revisión bibliográfica sobre la formación o educación ciudadana activa y responsable, a partir del estudio de la literatura nacional fundamentalmente, por su implicación en el contexto cubano; se partió de la caracterización de la sociedad actual como detonante de carencias de valores y de comportamientos ciudadanos que eran patrimonio de los cubanos y que merecen ser rescatados. Se definieron varios conceptos sobre el tema, se destacó la relación valor-educación ciudadana y se enfatizó en la necesidad de abordarlo desde un enfoque epistemológico, que permita su contextualización hacia un comportamiento activo y responsable.


ABSTRACT A bibliographic review was made on the education and active and responsible citizen education, from the study of the national literature fundamentally, for its implication in the Cuban context; it was based on the characterization of current society as a trigger for lack of values and citizen behavior that were the heritage of Cubans and that deserve to be rescued. Several concepts on the subject were defined, the value-citizen education relationship was highlighted and the need to approach it from an epistemological approach, which allows its contextualization towards an active and responsible behavior, was emphasized.
