Evaluación del bienestar psicológico en cuidadores primarios de pacientes oncológicos en la fase de cuidados paliativos / Assessment of psychological well-being in primary caregivers of cancer patients in the palliative care phase

Se realizó un estudio observacional descriptivo, de corte transversal, con el objetivo de evaluar el bienestar psicológico en cuidadores primarios de pacientes oncológicos en la fase de cuidados paliativos, pertenecientes al policlínico Sur del municipio de Ciego de Ávila, desde septiembre del 2010 hasta abril del 2011. Durante la investigación se trabajó con una muestra de 15 cuidadores. Se partió del problema científico ¿Cómo es el bienestar psicológico de los cuidadores primarios de pacientes oncológicos en la fase de cuidados paliativos? Para dar respuesta a los objetivos se aplicó una entrevista semiestructurada, inventario de ansiedad rasgo y estado, inventario de depresión rasgo y estado, lista de indicadores de vulnerabilidad al estrés, escala de Zarit sobre la carga del cuidador y un cuestionario de bienestar psicológico; que permitieron concluir que el 86.6 por ciento de los cuidadores presentaban una sobrecarga intensa, entre los factores psicológicos que se evidenciaron con mayor frecuencia están la depresión y la ansiedad como estado, de esta forma la insatisfacción en las áreas personal y familiar tributaron a que el bienestar psicológico fuera bajo (AU)

A cross-sectional descriptive study was carried out, with the aim of assessing psychological wellbeing in primary caregivers of cancer patients in the palliative care phase, belonging to the South polyclinic of Ciego de Avila, from September 2010 to April 2011. It worked with a sample of 15 caregivers during the investigation. It was started from the scientific problem. How is the psychological wellbeing of the primary caregivers of cancer patients in the palliative care phase? To meet the goals, a semistructured interview, Anxiety Inventory trait and state, Depression Inventory trait and state, list of indicators of vulnerability to stress, Short Zarit on caregiver burden and psychological well-being Questionnaire were applied; that led to the conclusion that 86.6 percent of caregivers had an intense overload, the most frequently psychological factors showed were: depression and anxiety as a state, thus the dissatisfaction in personal and family areas entailed to a low psychological well-being (AU)

Sistema de actividades educativas para fortalecer el valor honestidad en los estudiantes del primer año de la carrera de Bibliotecología en la enseñanza técnica y profesional / Educational activities system to reinforce the honesty value in students of the First year of Library Science in the technical and professional education career

El Sistema Nacional de Educación le interesa potenciar los valores que estén en correspondencia con sus aspiraciones y que van a determinar una conducta en la vida ciudadana, cualidades y rasgos individuales que correspondan a estos intereses sociales, pues como se conoce, los valores por el carácter social que representa poseen doble significación, por ello el problema de investigación es: ¿Cómo contribuir al fortalecimiento del valor honestidad en los estudiantes de primer año de Politécnico Daniel Rivero? El objetivo trazado fue elaborar un sistema de actividades educativas para contribuir al fortalecimiento del valor honestidad en dichos estudiantes. Los métodos y técnicas del nivel empírico utilizados fueron: observación, revisión de documentos, encuesta a estudiantes, entrevista a profesores. Dentro del método estadístico se utilizó el análisis porcentual. La población fue constituida por la totalidad de los estudiantes de primer año de la carrera de Bibliotecología, se utilizó un muestreo probabilístico intencional para trabajar con una muestra de 18 estudiantes. La realización del pre experimento demostró que el sistema de actividades educativas es efectivo y contribuye al fortalecimiento del valor honestidad en los estudiantes seleccionados(AU)

The National System of Education is interested in strengthen the values that are in correspondence with its aspirations and it is going to determine a behavior in the citizen life, qualities and individual characteristics that correspond to these social interests, as it knows, the values by the social character that represents possess double significance, that´s why the problem of investigation is: how to contribute to the strengthening of the honesty value in the first year students of Daniel Rivero Polytechnic? The objective was to elaborate a system of educational activities to contribute to the strengthening of the honesty value in the students. The methods and techniques of the empirical level used were: observation, documents review, survey to students and interview to professors. Inside the statistical method it was used the percentage analysis. The population was constituted by the totality of the first year students of the Library Science career, an intentional probabilistic sampling was used to work with a sample of 18 students. The realization of the pre experiment showed that the educational activities system is effective and contributes to the strengthening of the honesty value in the selected students(AU)
