ABSTRACT
The necessity for regular gynaecological examinations in tetraparaplegic and paraplegic women is pointed out. Outcomes of such examinations during a two and a half year period in the Rehabilitation Centre of Tobelbad illustrate this, as is shown in the tables.

ABSTRACT
To avoid paraosteoarthropathy no postural changes or passive movements should be done in the first 4 weeks after spinal cord injuries. Physiotherapists who are in charge of treatment of paraplegics should have a fundamental knowledge of spinal cord injuries to prevent such severe complications.
