In Russia, the basic trends in the development of narcology are represented mainly by three lines of studies: biological, clinical, and sociopsychological ones. The use of currently available methods and techniques for analyzing motor activity, facial expression, speech makes it possible to rather clearly stratify the contingents of patients, especially in the context of adequate application of therapeutical regimens and approaches.
