ABSTRACT

Introduction: an effective health information system (HIS) ensures the production, analysis, dissemination and use of reliable and up-to-date information on the determinants of health. However, it can encounter obstacles that hinder its functioning, such as armed conflicts, which limit access and quality of healthcare services. The purpose of our study was to help improve data management for routine health information system in the health district of Timbuktu during a security crisis. Methods: we conducted a descriptive cross-sectional study, among health information management professionals in the Timbuktu Health District from 15 April to 08 September 2023. Data obtained from a survey questionnaire were analyzed using Epi Info version 7.2.2. and processed using Microsoft Word and Excel 2016. Results: a total of 6 health facilities were surveyed. Data collection, analysis and feedback were very poor. Data quality was 100% complete, 92.40% prompt and 68.11% accurate. The major constraints were: low involvement of health workers in the SIS (22.22%), insufficient training on the SISR (29.63%), supervision (47.06%), internet inaccessibility (66.67%), feeling of insecurity (37.04%) and fear (61.76%) in health facilities. Conclusion: our results show low-level processes, poor network coverage, shortage of qualified health information management professionals and increasing insecurity. A broader mixed-methods research would provide a better understanding.

ABSTRACT

In the title salt, (C8H20N)8[Mo10O34], the [Mo10O34]8- polyanion is located about an inversion centre and can be considered as a ß-type octa-molybdate anion to which two additional MoO4 tetra-hedra are linked via common corners. The [Mo10O34]8- polyanions are packed in rows extending parallel to [001] and are connected to the di-butyl-ammonium counter-cations through N-H⋯O hydrogen-bonding inter-actions.

ABSTRACT

The reaction of the Schiff base 2-[1-(pyridin-2-yl)ethyl-idene-amino]-ethanol (HL), which is formed by reaction of 2-amino-ethanol and 2-acetyl-pyridine with CuBr2 in ethanol results in the isolation of the new polymeric complex poly[hexa-µ-bromido-bis-{2-[1-(pyridin-2-yl)ethyl-idene-amino]-ethano-lato}tetra-copper(II)], [Cu4Br6(C9H11N2O)2]n or [Cu4Br6 L 2]n. The asymmetric unit of the crystal structure of the polymeric [Cu4Br6 L 2]n complex is composed by four copper (II) cations, two monodeprotonated mol-ecules of the ligand, and six bromide anions, which act as bridges. The ligand mol-ecules act in a tridentate fashion through their azomethine nitro-gen atoms, their pyridine nitro-gen atoms, and their alcoholate O atoms. The crystal structure shows two types of geometries in the coordination polyhedrons around Cu2+ ions. Two copper cations are situated in a square-based pyramidal environment, while the two other copper cations adopt a tetra-hedral geometry. Bromides anions acting as bridges between two metal ions connect the units, resulting in a tetra-nuclear polymer compound.

ABSTRACT

The title salt, C14H16N+·C6H7AsNO3 -·H2O or [(C6H5CH2)2NH2][H2NC6H4As(OH)O2]·H2O, (I), was synthesized by mixing an aqueous solution of (4-amino-phenyl)-arsonic acid with an ethano-lic solution of di-benzyl-amine at room temperature. Compound I crystallizes in the monoclinic P21/c space group. The three components forming I are linked via N-H⋯O and O-H⋯O inter-molecular hydrogen bonds, resulting in the propagation of an infinite zigzag chain. Additional weak inter-actions between neighbouring chains, such as π-π and N-H⋯O contacts, involving phenyl rings, -NH2 and -As(OH)O3 functions, and H2O, respectively, lead to a three-dimensional network.

ABSTRACT

The crystal structure of the title salt, (C25H22P)[Sn(C6H5)3Cl2] or (PhCH2PPh3)[SnPh3Cl2], consists of [PhCH2PPh3](+) cations and [SnPh3Cl2](-) anions in which the Sn(IV) atom is linked to two Cl atoms and three phenyl groups in a trigonal-bipyramidal geometry, with the Cl atoms in trans positions. The cation adopts a tetra-hedral geometry. In the crystal, the cations and the anions are connected by C-H⋯Cl hydrogen bonds, leading to an infinite chain propagating along the c direction.
