ABSTRACT

Night snoring and cessation of breathing for 20-120 min should be considered as potentially lethal condition as it is associated with a rise in arterial, intracranial and intrathoracic pressure. Snoring apnea may be of central, peripheral and mixed origin. Peripheral and mixed apnea is treated by ENT surgeon and neuropathologist.
