ABSTRACT

Complex of diagnostic measures in patients with gastroduodenal ulcer disease includes conduction of investigations for revealing of helicobacteriosis, dysbacteriosis, helminthosis; esophagogastroduodenoscopy with optical biopsy and biopsy for histological and cytological investigation; computeric analysis of the blood neutrophils and buccal epithelium. Conservative treatment is conducted under endoscopic control, curative endoscopy and investigation for Helicobacter pylori are done additionally if necessary. In the absence of the conservative treatment efficacy various kinds of organpreserving surgical interventions are applied.

ABSTRACT

It was established on the ground of comparative analysis of the blood neutrophils oxidant activity (OA), estimated on the reason of chemoluminescence index and morphometric determination of bactericidal enzyme myeloperoxidase activity in 150 patients with septic-purulent diseases and 30 healthy persons, that frequent association of high indexes of the neutrophils OA and the low enzyme activity don't reflect the functional full value of myeloperoxidase system of the neutrophils bactericidal activity.

ABSTRACT

A study is presented of 96 patients with primary cancer of the liver. Hepatocellular cancer was diagnosed in 54 patients, cholangiocellular--in 36, low-differentiated--in 6 patients. Hepatocellular cancer was characterized by an increased size of the cells while they maintained likeness with intact liver cells, were characterized by significant anisocytosis, hyperchromia, reticular cytoplasm. Cholangiocellular forms of cancer are characterized by the presence of large nucleoli, cytoplasm vacuolization. Nondifferentiated cancer was distinguished by markedly pronounced polymorphism, presence of "nude" nuclei, disorders of the nucleus/cytoplasm ratio in favour of the nucleus, presence of syncytial relations between the cells.

ABSTRACT

The authors established that 12 h after development of acute obstructive ileus in inactive neutrophil granulocytes (NG), the anaerobic microorganisms were intact, or at the process of division; in the active NG, they were destroyed, or when forming "halo", might preserve and migrate in the matrix of NG. In interaction of NG with microorganisms, the numerous oval and roundish bacterial bodies with a diameter of 0.2-0.5 micron capable to penetrate into the non-phagocytic cells are formed. A function of the formations revealed is not studied.

ABSTRACT

In electron-microscopic study of the puncture biopsy material in 52 patients with diseases of the hepatobiliary organs in 22% of cases, the liver contamination with the viruses was revealed. They caused destruction of hepatocytes and induced their appearance in the cytoplasma and mitochondria of the protein crystalline inclusions. This was of certain diagnostic and, perhaps, lithogenic importance.
