ABSTRACT
Electroencephalographic studies and mathematical analysis of heart rhythm have shown that reconstructive plastic surgery is a more sparing and physiologic method as against supravaginal amputation of the uterus, providing normal functioning of all the body systems in late periods after surgery.

Ovarian and endometrial changes in most patients with uterine myoma had a histophysiologic nature. Clinical symptoms of "rapid growth" of myoma were largely determined by degenerative changes in the tumor and the surrounding myometrium. Uterine bleedings in patients with myoma may be related to hyperplastic lesions of the ovaries and endometrium, vascular myometrial and hemodynamic endometrial disorders.

A study of cervical microcirculation demonstrated an essential impairment of capillary circulation in 104 patients with uterine myomas. Reconstructive plastic operations, sparing the uterus, contribute to the recovery of disturbed regional microcirculation and are justified pathogenetically.
