Pure primary squamous cell carcinoma (SCC) is an extremely rare type of breast tumor. We report one of such cases in a 32-year-old woman, diagnosed by fine-needle aspiration cytology (FNAC). Aspiration smears were characterized by squamous cells, both isolated and in aggregates, at various stages of maturation. The tumor was excised, and the histologic sections confirmed the cytologic diagnosis. Pure primary SCC of the breast has a distinctive cytomorphologic appearance, and diagnosis of this tumor by FNAC is possible. For its diagnosis, the exclusion of SCC of local cutaneous structures and metastasis of distant squamous carcinoma are mandatory.

CLINICAL CASE: Our patient was a 37-year-old male with palpebral mycosis fungoides, the most common T-cell cutaneous lymphoma. He had been treated previously with topical corticosteroids. We treated him with Imiquimod cream (5%) three times a week. DISCUSSION: A clinical improvement was obtained with this drug, so we believe immuno-modulating agents need to be considered in the treatment of palpebral mycosis fungoides, especially because of its capacity of being a reflection of leukaemia.

Caso clínico: Presentamos el caso de un varón de37 años de edad que presentaba una micosis fungoide,el más frecuente de los linfomas T cutáneos,con localización exclusivamente palpebral quehabía sido tratado previamente con corticoides tópicos.Se instauró un tratamiento con Imiquimod al5% en crema tres veces semanales.Discusión: Con el uso de este medicamento, seconsiguió una gran mejoría clínica del paciente, porlo que consideramos muy importante tener en cuentaeste inmunomodulador para el tratamiento deesta enfermedad, de importancia por su capacidadde leucemización

Se trata de un caso de quistes de inclusión epidérmica intraescrotales, manifestados clínicamente como tres masas extratesticulares. El paciente fue intervenido realizándose excisión de las masas por vía escrotal encontrándose asintomático en la actualidad. A propósito del caso y de las dificultades terminológicas halladas, se hace hincapié en el diagnóstico diferencial de diferentes lesiones quísticas. Presentamos el caso de una mujer joven que comenzó con una hemorragia digestiva baja y que precisó intervención quirúrgica urgente ante la persistencia y gravedad de la misma. Fue diagnosticada por angiografía selectiva de arteria mesentérica superior de lesión yeyunal con sangrado activo tras haber resultado negativas otras pruebas diagnósticas. La intervención quirúrgica y la aplicación de pruebas inmunorreactivas establecieron el diagnóstico de tumor mesenquimal tipo estromal CD 34+. Revisamos las características de este tipo de tumores infrecuentes en esta localización (AU)

OBJECTIVE: To report a case of leiomyoma of the bladder, a benign tumor that accounts for 0.43% of bladder tumors. The literature is briefly reviewed. METHODS/RESULTS: A 64-year-old male with prostatic syndrome is described. The preoperative evaluation showed bladder lithiasis and signs compatible with prostatic hypertrophy, but no evidence of a bladder tumor. Endoscopic evaluation, however, revealed a tumor in the bladder neck. Transurethral resection of the tumor, prostate and endoscopic lithotripsy of the bladder were performed. The anatomopathological findings showed leiomyoma of the bladder. The postoperative course was unremarkable. CONCLUSION: Leiomyoma of the bladder does not present specific symptoms and is frequently an incidental finding. The diagnosis is based on the results of the anatomopathological analysis of the specimen.

To del with a case of Intrascrotal epidermal inclusion cysts, clinical manifest like three scrotal masses. The patient was operated by transcrotally excision and he remains still asymptomatic. About this case and the terminology difficulties, we propose a differential diagnosis between different cystic lesion showed in the scrotum. The bibliography revision was performed by the Medline since 1966 until 1999.

Human chromophobe renal cell carcinoma is an infrequent neoplasm, recently descripted (1985). It is very important to separate it from the renal cell carcinoma due to its better prognosis. Presentation of the clinical, radiographic and histological features of two cases of chromophobe renal cell carcinoma, diagnosed and treated in our Centre.

The primary signet-ring cell adenocarcinoma of the bladder is a rare tumor, with great biological aggressivity and bad prognosis. We report a clinical case of a 65 years old patient, starting with bladder irritative symptoms and suffering from advanced disease at the initial diagnosis. We review clinical and etiopathogenic aspects about this entity.

Report of three cases of Wunderlich Syndrome secondary to renal adenocarcinoma, hydronephrosis and non-filar blood dyscrasia, highlighting its uncommon etiology. Brief review of the etiopathogenic, diagnostic and therapeutical aspects, pointing out the relevance of renal ultrasonography and, most specially, abdominal CAT to achieve a definitive diagnosis and to determine the attitude to follow, trying to use conservative surgery whenever possible, although our three cases were treated with nephrectomy.
