ABSTRACT

Em coletas realizadas em ambientes lóticos e lênticos no município de Mariana, MG, foram verificados 35 gêneros e 64 espécies de heterópteros aquáticos, distribuídos em 13 famílias. Nos ambientes lênticos, foram capturadas 34 espécies e nos lóticos, 48 espécies, com espécies comuns aos dois ambientes. Nepomorpha apresentou-se com o maior número de espécies (45) com destaque para a família Naucoridae representada por12 espécies. Entre os Gerromorpha, das 19 espécies encontradas, oito foram de Veliidae e seis de Gerridae.

Thirty four species were collected in lentic environments, while in lotic environments 48 species were collected, some of them common to both environments.
